  1. I checked passenger seat this morning to see how it compares with the driver seat and it is definitely firmer at the bum point, I even took one of my colleague to check that and he agreed that there is something wrong with the driver seat, feels more soggy. Never had this problems in any of the cars and to have it on the Lexus with 35k miles on it, strange!
  2. Thanks Shahpor, I am dropping of the car after work today so they can work on it tomorrow, will see, something tells me I am the one to pay this one. Well, as long as it's fixed and doesn't bother me!
  3. Hi all, Booked into garage my GS tomorrow to check the drivers seat, it just doesn't feel right to me, it's not flat, may be foam has been distorted or may be I am making this up and it is in my head! However, when I was in Lexus garage last time I sat in F-sport GS and the seat base was very flat and more equally supporting my bottom and mine doesn't do it! Plus I asked them to check the heating element as it is feels like it heating up in patches, for example my thighs do not feel warm at all! The bas news is that the guy from Service Department said if it is foam in the seat base that causes rough uneven seat then it won't be covered by my warranty but if the problem with heating element it should be covered by warranty, fingers crossed it falls under warranty! Did anyone had issues with their seats? I recall someone mentioned that their seat was fully changed under warranty but can't recall who said it and under what circumstances it had been done. Thanks everyone. Vlad
  4. This is my problem as well, enjoying too much and not trying for economy! lol!
  5. I didn't even know there are a AWD Lexus apart from RX, NX and UX, sounds like a great car! Anyway, good luck with anything you go with! Vlad
  6. Hi Jeff, there is a lot info on tyrereviews.com, personally I tend to trust their opinion. On my previous car (also rear wheel drive) I put on KumhoKU39 tyres and was really nicely surprised and would recommend them highly, my point is you do not have to go Premium tyres to still enjoy the driving and be safe. Vlad
  7. 540miles? I have to enjoy less that V6 sound and try concentrate more on economy. My next full tank I will try to be more careful with the gas pedal and see if I can make 500miles mark! Thanks for sharing everyone, it is good to know that it is doable!
  8. I am working on that, filled a full tank (usually I go for a half tank) and see how many miles I can cover, so far about 320miles and based on OBC I will do about 440miles on a full tank, not much and 100% you can do more but I was nit careful and just drove the car normally, I think 440 miles roughly will equate to 35mpg. Will keep you all updated. I do not know how people do up to 60mpg on 450h, down the hill? On a short run after OBC was reset?
  9. I Have had 5 different rear driven cars and none of them did the "skipping" thing, only when it snowed, may be it is a Lexus thing?
  10. I have the same issue, I noticed that only when we moved to a new premises at work and started parking cars at underground parking - I blamed the concrete and wet (due to condensate) surface and cold ish temperatures as I did not notice any crabbing any where else. I have 18inch wheels with still decent thread left on Bridgestone.
  11. Hi Martin, just 250miles since March?! it's nothing! 🙂 The car looks very nice, I personally really like red colour!
  12. Hey martin, welcome to LOC! It's good to hear you still enjoy Lexus, congratulations on your purchase. How is your mpg so far? Add some photos of the car, we all like these! Vlad
  13. Hi Gregory, welcome to LOC! That GS looks like a serious car, put a few more pictures, will you. Congrats on LS, how do you like it so far? Bigger, better, quitter? It's a few guys here that have another mother language (me including) but everyone is very nice and never criticised anyone and all are very helpful! Fire away your questions and you most likely will get an answer or an advice! Vlad
  14. I noticed that using Shell V-Power is increasing an MPG (not much) and also I it feels like my engine runs quitter and smoother but I only fill the tank with expensive stuff once every 2-3 months and the rest of the time I use standard shell petrol, it cheaper! 🙂 But always Shell though not supermarket.
  15. James I think I used Eco Mode once, when I bought the car, just to try it out. Just Normal Mode for me mostly.
  16. I do not know if 25C is enough but I would like to have it higher. It doesn't bother me if the seat heat is turning itself off gradually on it's own as long as I have a good blast at start to warm up my bum I would be happy! :)
  17. gordon keeble - I had to Google it as never heard this one before! Welcome to LOC, your Lexus looks great, when I win a lottery I will get one of these myself! :)
  18. My 450h warms up much faster than my previous BMW 525d was, much quicker, in fact in Lexus I think is the best climate control I have had so far, apart from heating seats which are rubbish!
  19. I see no point in having 4 TPMS if they do not show the pressure in each wheel, why would Lexus do that?
  20. Hi Dragan, welcome to LOC 1st of all! I am sorry I can't help you but hopefully someone else will have an answer to your question. Regards
  21. Thanks Luigi, I will have a look into this.
  22. The car and the house do belong to each other on that picture, very nice!
