  1. If its full Lexus history they don't need to inspect, they just look up the Lexus database. When I did this they also posted and emailed me 12 pages of Lexus workshop/service history detailing what the car had done, for free too!
  2. Please delete - double post!
  3. Instant, lower RPM torque and also higher peak figures with it being (twin) turbocharged I'd imagine
  4. I've driven a friends E92 M3 (Stage 2 tune - 450bhp) a few times, and for the first time at the weekend back to back with the ISF. Still prefer the ISF although the M3 is slightly quicker with that extra ~1k rpm ish and higher peak power figure. I wonder how the M4 compares 🙂
  5. PS. local dealer wanted £800 for the 100k and following minor service, I believe the 100k service on its own with no service plan discount is ~£600.
  6. RE: Warranty, you can still add a 2 year extended warranty to an ISF for £795 up until it is 9 years and 364 days old, I have just done it on my ISF when it was 9 years and 340 days old! It had full main dealer history which I believe is a pre-requisite, or at least the last service was checked.
  7. Can't seem to find the interval for a gearbox oil change in the service manual. Will find out if it happens in January, it was last done 40k ago (77k now) so its at least been changed once.
  8. I have a bit of an eclectic fleet at the moment. 2016 Octavia vRS TDI (commuter/daily): 1997 Mazda Bongo Friendee (family camper/weekend/day trip wagon): 1999 Mercedes CLK320, bought for £500 for a banger rally 'Gib or Bust 2018' in a few weeks:
  9. I was quoted £800 from my local dealer for the next 2 services. The next one is 100k, I'm impressed what they are going to replace: Air filter - replace as required All Applicable Labour Battery(s) in key fob Insp aircon/pollen filter(s)-replace as necessary Refill engine oil Replace brake fluid Replace engine coolant Replace rear differential oils Replace oil filter Replace transmission oil
  10. I think the early ISF's have the potential to be classics but only based on Lexus' first attempt at an M3 beater and their rarity. None of this influenced me buying one though, flying under the radar vs. the competition was the appeal alongside Lexus ownership experience. In general big output N/A engines days are numbered, I'll enjoy them whilst I can!
  11. I picked it up this morning, had to head pretty much straight home due to meetings but I am absolutely loving it! Can't wait to get out in it later. I never normally buy the first example I see but the low owners, good history, condition etc. all checked out so hopefully its a goodun 😎 Wonder how long my first tank of V Power will last 😁
  12. That would be awesome if you dont mind as I just bought it! Proper tidy car, couple of marks on rear seats to sort but I am buzzing from it, just felt so right to me after test driving the obvious rivals. I also briefly considered a newer Golf R/Leon Cupra but have now seen the light lol. Hopefully pick up Tuesday after a new parking sensor is fitted... its 3 weeks young enough for the Lexus warranty too!
  13. Hi Guys, Off to view my first ISF today (finally!) its a silver 2008 model (WV58 BCU) 2 owners from new. The first was a doctor and then a private owner from 2014 until now, anyone recognise it? Its got full history, 76k miles, and just had the wheels refurbed. Up for £15,890 at a local dealer. Only 7 for sale on Autotrader at the moment! Thanks, Ryan
  14. Excellent summary. I am weighing up similar options myself!
  15. That sounds lovely! Whats it like inside the car compared to standard?
