  5. That’s a shame, I’ve been looking for a while now but have never seen a leather non 60/40 split rear seat option Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. As per title, my SE has a one piece, non folding rear seat back, I want to fit a full leather interior but the one I can get it has a split rear seat and I don’t want to spend a lot of money to find it would be impossible to fit in my car without cannibalising it. I’m not fussed about having a split rear seat so if I can get the split seat to fit and not open it wouldn’t bother me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. High mileage is not 117k, yours is just getting into its stride. I have 173k miles on my 2014 IS300h and no issues with the timing chain. Service regularly and as required and I honestly believe that is part of its longevity Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Especially continental tyres, they used to be really bad for it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. That’s interesting, I’ve got 16’s on my SE but have been looking to change to 17’s as there’s a better choice of nicer looking wheels. Do you have the same tyres front and back or are they different per axle? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I can’t argue with any of what was said there. When I get in mine, even with its mileage, I don’t worry that something will fail/break Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Wow!! 2 years ago I paid 13,500 for a 2014 IS300h that had 59,000 miles on the clock with full Lexus history and one previous owner. I can’t believe how well they are holding their value. Q1. Your offer would seem to be more than fair in my view, however I’m not in the trade so am not sure what values are currently. Q2. At 120,000 miles that will be a very big service, plugs and coolant as well as inverter coolant. Personally I would also have the transmission fluid changed before 100k, it’s more of a preventative rather than an essential. Q3. My 2014 is now sat at 174,000 and racks up about a 1000 miles a week without really breaking a sweat. I have a feeling the 12v battery is beginning to fail, and the suspension is now a little clunky so will need some attention soon. Aside from that it still drives well it’s still comfortable and still does over 50mpg on a run and 45mpg around town Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  21. I paid £52 at my local tyre centre and that included fitting and programming(cloning) Many tyre centres now have the vilify to do it at a far more reasonable price than main dealers and they dont need dealer style equipment either Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I looked into running run flats on my Lexus when I first got it my local tyre centre told me that it wasn’t possible due to the way that the room is designed, it’s not designed for a runflat tyre. There is also the cost implication to consider, run flats are about 50% dearer than the equivalent normal tyre. Finally you lose your ride quality as well, if you’ve ever driven a BMW with runflat you will know exactly what I mean by that. Even a well adjusted handbrake on a Lexus seems to have a level of give on it. If you pull up, apply the handbrake and then release the footbrake the car will always move on it’s a bit. It seems to be the design of the handbrake and no amount of adjustment will sort it out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Ive been looking at them and in comparison to the IS the materials and the feel of quality isn’t quite Lexus. Plus it’s FWD and that may sound silly but the driving experience is different Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I hope so......and I hope it’s got good range as well. My is is due for replacement next year, would love another or maybe a GS300h Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. 150,000 km is about 95,000 miles I believe. My IS300h has over 260,000kms/168,000 miles on the clock and is still running its original traction battery without any issues at all. My fuel consumption is about 45-50 mph on a long run and 40-45 mpg around town which is about a loss of 10% over its performance 100,000 miles ago Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
