Back to re-painting the roof, it's a simple fix. It always tickles me that so many owners are so attached to their original paint and lacquer. If you use a car for its intended purpose, it will pick up stone chips and road salt and the odd scratch here and there. Any decent body-shop should be able to match the colour and restore the affected panel to good order.

Hi Neil, the paint shop i have  used wouldn't paint them without removing them. The masking would be too much and wouldn't guarantee the chance of overspray. This is where mt concern comes from.

  2. mine has the same in about three places on the roof panels. It was repainted under warranty about 8 years ago but is back now.

Looking to get it painted, but the bloke I go to won't take it on, too close to the  seals. Thinking of asking Lexus Leeds to remove the panels to get them painted. Lexus Leeds have a body shop, will have to get telephoning, but car is away now for winter.

  3. Mine was in Tuesday 18th for the same, also in silver. Same tester, must be getting used to them by now.

When I went to collect it was parked up outside the front doors, it looked superb in the sunlight. I failed and didn't take a photo.

  4. Had mine done at Lexus Leeds, no problems whatsoever. Done a few miles, no rattles and had a good study, no marks. Had MOT and small service done at the same time. Had it for a full day and a half. CT as a courtesy car, driving it is like been in a different make of car, never mind model. They forgot a few things after making the SC.

  5. Your aerial, use a Lexus one, I tried two cheap ones before, had no problems since.

The leaks in to the boot, the leaing corner rubber nearest the rear screen has a whole in, these leads to a tube, thts drains. chech for the tube being connected, check if it is blocked.

I took my headlights out to change all the bulbs. Bumper off i'm afraid.

  6. Hi, had this problem with mine. It is the mast that will be the problem. Don't bother with any of the aftermarket ones, i tried two, neither of which worked correctly. The Lexus one worked perfectly.

Some good instructions here. If you follow them they work.
