  1. Interesting story, but intrigued by the label ‘high specification’, the car looks standard for me and the autotrader description is basic. Sounds like the salesman was over-egging that one 😂 (such a pessimist I know). GSF’s came fairly well kitted from factory, unless I’ve missed something glaringly obvious (happy to be corrected). Black does look nice with the lighter interior though. Just wait for that depreciation to kick in and that’ll be a nice car for someone 😍
  2. Honestly a game changer, best cleaner I’ve ever come across, I use it as a 2nd time over cleanser after Diablo gel from chemical guys. Our wheel colour is just 😍
  3. Glad you are enjoying the GSF, I'm in the same lane as you with many things mentioned above, and maybe just a few disagreements hehe, I am certainly gonna keep mine until it is illegal/ it dies/ I die 😛 Personal preference, white is better 😉
  4. Oooo last time I checked they didn't have GSF, but guess what website I'm visiting to check momentarily... haha
  5. Pads need changing before 2mm before they hit the sensor. I was unaware of the disc limit but to be honest didn't look it up as mine weren't mentioned. Be interested to know where you source your discs in the end for future reference 😄
  6. I'd agree, I had 30K out of my pads and the MOT/ service I had a few months prior, only mentioned the pads as an advisory and said the discs were still healthy.
  7. Well known bidding site has a few listings, genuine part and not £1700, but unsure of what you would consider a good price and does £1700 include rear discs, also intrigued on mileage if they need replacing too?! 😄
  8. What area was it taken from? Most likely taken for some chav-box 😞
  9. Thanks for the detailed response, makes sense I guess 🙂
  10. Interesting, when I spoke to my dealer, they made no differentiation... I have a mid pipe that removed the secondary cats and has valved back boxes... might need to do some digging before my next MOT then haha!
  11. I checked with my local dealer before installing and they said as long as the after market part wasn't accountable for the problem then warranty would remain intact, i.e if there is a wheel hub warranty claim, that can't be attributed to an exhaust being fitted... hope that makes sense? 😄
  12. It would appear another company has thrown their hat into the mix for an RCF system. May be of interest to owners 😄
  13. Thanks! Shipping to UK yes, off the shelf.. nada. GTHAUS fairly high in price but there are other choices, but after many youtube/ instagram videos it was the only sound that got me all giggly.
  14. To say you didn't give me the idea would be a lie 😛 I like the subtle tasteful mods and that small centre section is just enough, even adding the headrest or the back part of where you plant your backside would be over the top in my eyes and ruin the design. All mods that I've toyed with have been exterior, first time I've genuinely thought about changing anything inside the cabin!
  15. Well in mate and congratulations, cracking spec 😉, I have not changed anything intake wise, but have GTHAUS mid pipe and backboxes that unleash the V8 beast! P.s if you are on instagram, find me @hockeyedwards 🙂 joined_video_0f729a34cc6649f59d298f2b077bfecf.MP4
  16. Well the white GSF has disappeared from eBay, has someone got something to tell us... 😛
  17. Had a very slow day at work today, allowing for more than the usual amount of car-related day dreaming. Wonder what colour would be suitable for the red interior on a white GSF... open to suggestions as I will most likely be photoshopping some colour options just to see if it really tickles my fancy, or whether I remain a distant admirer!
  18. I thought the RC's didn't, not that I've got one to look at tbh!
  19. Subtle but effective! 😄
  20. I have a 2016 without the AVS and I think it’s absolutely fine, I drove a late 2017 a while back and personally couldn’t notice any difference.. but that could also just be ignorance 😂.
  21. Front trim is dark chrome, only the trim around windows is regular chrome. Unfortunately I don’t have any front close ups of my car on my phone and I’m currently out, maybe someone else will chip in later with a front end pic, but the front carbon does look suspect!
  22. funnily enough after I posted, I read the other posts and it did dawn on me about this, shame for such a nice car to go to waste 😞
  23. GSF is a cracker, nice to see another potential owner joining us! Something fishy about that front carbon as you pointed out, i doubt a light reflection would make it look so horrendous, would defo be looking into that, also there was a member on here who had seen the car driving and parked around before it went to Milton Keynes, I am convinced he said it had definitely had body work done, but cannot recall to which part. If there is no service history then you have two options.. 1. run away 2. use it as a haggling point and put your foot on their throat about it 😛 Also in general it just bugs me that a car isn't with a main dealer, I have real distrust in independent garages (due to a poor history with them) and I'd call BS on the £500 service that has apparently been carried out... and then just for the bants it seems, doesn't have the log book. Sceptical Kieran is Sceptical 😉 However, there is unlikely to be anything mechincally wrong if it has just been driven day to day, I'm at 35k with mine and it is still as smooth as ever, plus you have added bonus of it being under warranty with Lexus, but I would be inclined to check ths cars history for potential incidents. Plus you may wish to just go get it serviced by Lexus or get a service plan to negate having to pay a lump sum as soon as you buy the car. The only poopy thing is that you've already given a deposit, minimises your leverage a smidge, but I would be inclined to ask for it back whilst you research the car further, takes the pressure off you that you've 'commited' to the car in the dealers eyes. Further questions always welcome 😄
  24. PS4 are a much better tyre than OEM, I can't remember price unfortunately and too lazy to go back and find out, but if you make a tyre last many miles, the cost is never an issue as I want good rubber underneath me! I used Camskill online and got them delivered, cracking service from them.
