  1. Well well well, the car has now been slashed to the 50k mark, ouchies!
  2. Few trips to Wales and the land of Scot have yielded mid 30's for me, but as @B1 RMA mentioned, primarily ragging it to work on backroads, manual, valves open... MPG has no hope then! 😛
  3. This is the one on autotrader that I think as mentioned above, a forum member found to have no service history/ log book proof (unless I am mis-remembering) and had also received some body work repair?
  4. Always check Lexus used website, I've found a few cars that are on there but not autotrader in the past. Best of luck!
  5. Valves open, yes, valves closed it is minimal to none. Unless accelerating in a poor gear choice. If in doubt... floor it! 😛
  6. Because why not? Cat-back system from GTHaus, SUS mid pipe and titanium rear boxes, videos in order - cold start valves closed, cold start valves open, cheeky rev in an acoustically pleasing car park. Maybe not everyones cup of tea, but the ear to ear grin hasn't worn off for me whenever I press the go faster pedal 😛 IMG_3886.MOV joined_video_0f729a34cc6649f59d298f2b077bfecf.MP4 IMG_4128.mov
  7. A good watch if you have the time 🙂
  8. I have what I call stone scrapes, where I get small or in one case a large black line through the wheel colour, but not back to the metal. Front left is particularly marked out of the 4 wheels. But I cover good mileage per week as it is my daily. The universe is conspiring against us...
  9. Time to master the J-turn 😉
  10. A black w/ red interior up on autotrader, with ML and S/R, at a reasonable price I would say for the year/ mileage. I presume the seller is not on the forum? I am only curious as it is 7 miles from me and I've never seen it being driven around! Roll up, roll up! 😉 https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201911013923200?advertising-location=at_cars&radius=1500&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly New&onesearchad=New&postcode=gu528aj&sort=price-asc&make=LEXUS&model=GS F&page=1
  11. Fair point 😉 best of luck with the knee (I'm a physiotherapist), do your exercises haha! 😛
  12. I guess it depends on previous car experience and everyone has their own definition of 'reasonable' - mine is very, very low haha! Also depends on how comfortable you may be with your working on cars, I bought my EBC pads for just over £100 and fitted them myself, that's my idea of reasonable 😛 and I will probs do the same for the discs when required.
  13. I hope not directly from Lexus.. £££ 😕
  14. I would also recommend going through Lexus Used Cars online as not all cars get put on autotrader 🙂 If you do find a car and it is a little older, would also recommend running it through the forum, sometimes you find the previous owner on here or little snitbits that dealers would otherwise not relay to you. Hope you find one 😉
  15. This is straight off Lexus website, I'm currently using a service plan and extended warranty '241' and have to say the monthly cost is very forgiving!
  16. Replaced my fronts with EBC reds, much less dust than OEM! 🙂
  17. I guess they had to come up with an 'update', I think it looks a bit classier with a little less colour saturation, considering I have red interior currently, prefer the white and black this time around.
  18. Obviously I realise the colours themselves are not new, more of an update, I love my current interior, but I have to say, would swap for one of these without any hesitation! 😄
  19. Salesman spinning a yarn again... 'Plus Pack' is used for new models, doesn't apply to 'old' shape cars to be honest and ironically I dont think it even applies to the new shape RCF at all, as like current F's they nearly come with everything as standard. For other models (can vary), it is usually stuff like heated leather seats, parking sensors, power boot lid etc etc
  20. Ahh yes, the bane of my car cleaning routine, I've put many pennies in the swear jar because of this. When I first got my car it was horrendous and I resorted to using an air line as I could get the nozzle fairly close to it. I also used a piece of thin metal to work free some of the tougher to reach areas. Now that the car gets cleaned on the regular, blasting it with the pressure washer usually does a decent job, but maybe for a first time, I would recommend an air line. There is also fairly decent access from the wheel arch once you remove the cover (if you can be bothered to do that) and full lock the wheels to improve access. Once you get on top of it, just becomes part of the routine!
  21. Fabricating a 'special order' from Japan story is well beyond any normal BS I would say is acceptable from a dealer...
  22. So special it has been reduced a few thousand already... ha!
