  1. They look very '90's Mercedes' to me, but they were not quite as flat as pictured above. Likely aftermarket?
  2. 'What do you know about an LFA?' Literally everything mate, I'm obsessed! 😆
  3. Absolute legend, female motoring icon and all around lovely person. I will never forget the transit van on the ring!
  4. On these 'private roads' everyone seems to be finding for their youtube videos... must find me some! just putting up the house as a down payment 😛 if i remember correctly I did try to get a quote for an LFA (wishful future thinking) and it being quite steep into the double figures - so yeah 'cheap' haha!
  5. https://www.theoctanecollection.com/cars/lexus-lfa-2-for-sale/ Who wants to chip in?
  6. Best of luck with your MOT then 😛 Having spoke to a few US supercharged owners, several converted back to stock as it required additional mods to get the power down on the road consistently and without the mods, made the car less of a daily and more of a 'specific weather conditions only' car. Orange 😉
  7. Take with pinch of salt 😉 plus I'm never super serious with my comments 😛 Are the Novel headers de-cat or not, can't remember? I approve of GTHaus (obvs, haha), Novel kit is probs my favourite of the bunch but I don't like any of them overall. Interested in the colour you choose, chrome is a bitch so get it done properly and the supercharger will make the car undriveable unless on drag strip, or bone bone bone dry roads 🙂
  8. Magnaflow - which I don't think make a 'specific' set up for the RCF, so likely a custom job. Wasn't knocking mods, I have ideas spinning in my head all the time, just felt these choices didn't go well together (Orange, carbon and black), seemed a bit mish-mash. @mr2lad has multiple additons to his car and I think they look mega (prefer the black wheels though man haha). What's on your to-mod list then @Arnett 😛
  9. Perhaps a dealer pulling a fast one on another dealer, meme-able! 😆
  10. Wheels painted black, vent decal, front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser additions, 500 bhp sticker, strut bar in engine bay (to cope with the 500bhp sticker) and dechrome. Unsure if I've missed anything else? Orange, grey then white was my colour preference...
  11. I would be inclined to agree as you're right dealers can provide more options, except it was advertised for the same on ebay a few weeks back but i cannot recall whether it was same advertiser as autotrader.
  12. Yeah it's a carbon with some mods and yes mega overpriced. The ebay advert (now unavailable) was excessive and very misleading too. It was ripped to bits on the Lexus fb group a week or so ago, caught my eye that it was autotrader now, gut tells me something fishy going on.
  13. Shame I can't find the ebay ad, was terrible and wonder if it is same seller. Guess it's each to their own, was merely a discussion point 🙂 agree on the price remarks though, bit steep. The car isn't listed on the advertisers website, part of me thinks this is a bit fishy or someones been robbed blind!
  14. I love the colour, I tried to buy my GSF in orange, haha! Just think the carbon, orange and then black pieces all don't go together very tastefully and despite having an aftermarket exhaust myself, this one doesn't seem to fit very well. Also noticed your Lexus model has changed from RC to none... uh oh?! 😆
  15. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202103109978547?model=RC F&postcode=gu528aj&radius=1500&sort=price-asc&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly New&onesearchad=Used&include-delivery-option=on&make=LEXUS&advertising-location=at_cars&page=1 It was floating around on ebay but has made its way onto autotrader now. Whilst I can appreciate tasteful modifications and have seen some lovely additions on members cars, this just doesn't do anything for me 😕
  16. So err... when we all coincidentally fuelling up at the same rest spot? 🤣🤣🤣
  17. If zee Germans are whacking twin turbo V8's into theres, why not a 5L in ours... but I also agree, these types or cars shouldn't exist, would have a Lexus one though 😛 🤣
  18. I love a wheels off clean, my dad has quik jacks and the wheel cleaning obsession is next level when you can properly get into the barrell and behind the spokes, coated them and then calipers with ceramic is the way forward, will do the whole car in the future as its currently a bit worse for wear with stone chips etc, i've repaired some stonechips myself and honestly felt the result was better than the 'professonal' Lexus got to do it before I picked the car up a few years back, ammonyc has some solid videos/ tool advice for DIY repairs, never though to use syringes in such a non clinical matter! I used to spray Creed Royal Water in the air vents and under seat wents after an interior clean 😆 but now im definitely going to order this diffuser, sounds mega! Glad we're all just as unhinged as each other! 😉🤣
  19. I peaked early... had my plate since 26 (now 30) and having been trying to negotiate on other plates on and off - because I tell myself there will be other cars in the garage in the undefined future! 😆😆
  20. Just don't look at them 😆 mine is battered from some 'spirited' driving on some less than ideal roads... You'll be super happy after a detail and coating. Did all mine myself over a weekend last year and it is honestly so satisfying the next clean after its been detailed and protected properly! Make sure you upload some pics 😉
  21. No experience with either but what a name! 😆
  22. If you have an 'ideal spec' in mind, might be worth posting on here, members potentially selling could approach you, also us saddo's (me) that live on autotrader etc can keep an eye out if a good one comes up for sale 🙂
  23. Where's all my white gang at? (car colour) 😆
  24. *inhales deeply* hahahahahaha... sorry had to get that off my chest, nothing meant towards you. Quite tough to come up with a super accurate price, other than going by whats out there already in a more niche side of the market. £30k doesn't seem mad if you take into account discs/ pads and tyres already being done. If the service history can be proven then don't see why Lexus wouldn't approve it and tbh I think a dealer would ask you for more money then £30k. Be interested in other peoples thoughts and if a previous owner is on here 🙂
