  1. I have said 'yes' just as I'm starting it up, this hybrid sounds better than most 😉
  2. Hehe, my favourite responses when I say I drive a GS F are - isn't that a hybrid or do you mean F-sport? 😛
  3. God you do waffle 😛 Do you start every sentence with 'I drive 2k miles a month..'? Poor guy was just asking about his seats 😉 and now I've teased you a bit, I think your comment and others above about the quick dye job is correct, some mucker has probs covered it up for short term aesthetics and sale. Glad you seats are holding up though, also being red interior makes me hopeful for the future miles! @Locheelad a good leather repair is the way to go for a long term satisfactory fix, but maybe some short term solutions may ease your mind 🙂
  4. Glad to hear you enjoy it, an LC and ISF, very jelly I must say! I'd add an LC if those money trees every come to fruition 😛 Was holding out for the 'LC F' but that might never come, so time will tell!
  5. Haha, thanks for the feedback 😛 The F is 'my' car, NX is the dog mobile, LS is the project/ waft wagon and she keeps telling me she misses her Audi A1 for nipping out in, I suggested getting another Abarth, just not the Biposto, that was a flat out NO! She loves the chunky look of the Yaris and the size is more manageable and thinks the LC is too big for her to nip places. Just planting a few more money trees and we'll be there in no time!
  6. Cheap for one of those, must have some miles on it or they are pricing to sell ASAP. The Mrs was more keen on the GR than an LC, so it is top of shopping list atm! 😛
  7. More manufacturers having to cut/ stop production, used car market already overpriced, just gonna keep going until something gives... I know it isn't an F-car but we had the NX valued at 24k from webuyanycar, didn't sell it, was just curious, 2 weeks later, now offering 25.5k 🤷‍♂️
  8. Could be they didn't reset the service interval on the car and it has just flashed up. Whoever carried out the 60k service should have an invoice of what items were used, can ask them to provide it and it will list the oil/ filters/ plugs used etc, if for some reason they can't, then fair reason to ask them to change the oil for peace of mind. 60k service is the 'big one' and will most definitely include oil 🙂 there will be a guide available on Lexus UK website which should detail what is included in said service or maybe someone has a copy to hand and will post below.
  9. *Gets out the cross and holy water* - back foul beast! 😆
  10. Titty Verification Device 😉 - that is defo getting censored 😆
  11. Found some Esso 99 this afternoon, a few other big engined cars all filling up as well, felt like above clip on the inside 😆
  12. ebay screen grab of said 'toned down' orange 🙂
  13. 1 of 2 in UK, shows it wasn't a popular colour to start, I personally love it and when I looked to buy it was in my top choices. Having spoke with 2 Lexus dealers about other cars and then discussed this GS F, both gave negative reactions to the colour choice for a 'Lexus' and state the new toned down darker orange has been a more popular colour choice in recent car orders.
  14. Everywhere close to me has E10 only, sad times! LS won't be getting driven again until I can guarantee E5 or better. GS will have to suck it up for a bit on E10 😞
  15. I am quite particular to white, got any pics of the car so I can have a nosey at some of the styling changes? 😄
  16. If you can find all 3, why not treat yourself and drive them all! 😆 I wanted an ISF, by the time I was in the market to purchase, the GSF was reasonable stretch and personally I preferred the looks and the more modern interior. I get golf clubs, golf trolley, shopping, dog food run, luggage bags etc all in boot no probs, only down side being rear sets don't fold but cant have everything! Whatever your decision, as all the comments have hinted at above, you really won't go wrong and it will come down to preference, if I didn't have the GSF, it would be an RCF or ISF for sure. Happy hunting and look forward to hearing your thoughts if you get out for a drive and of course if you cancel your order 😛
  17. If you set the mirrors to autofold when car is locked, it is a quick way to tell whether the car is locked or not. We all go through the new car paranoia so don't worry haha! Enjoy 🙂
  18. The only 'long' tone I have ever known is when you try to lock it with the key inside. Mine has never made any tone when locking, not that I've looked but maybe a menu setting exists? Glad you are enjoying the car and welcome to F club 😄
  19. Facebook memory threw these up today, October 2018 was the last time I cast my eyes on this beauty, time flies when there's a pandemic!
  20. Esso 99 (no ethanol) has given me around 40 miles extra per tank on day to day driving. Having driven the same roads for 2 years to work, had a fairly good gauge of what a tank would get me mile wise and after swapping to Esso 99 the difference was noted. Performance wise, couldn't comment either way. Also not stating any science behind my opinion, just stating what I noticed and do I think the price difference is worth the extra miles... 🤷‍♂️ Had also watched a youtube video from Bamford Rose regarding fuel (a little while back admittedly) and was an informative watch.
  21. I probably shouldn't mention that I've been up Goodwood hill in one then... my dad went to school with one of the drivers 😛 Have also seen Lexus UK's blue one around several times/ at events. GU11 VLL was the reg I believe. Still talking the Mrs into living in a 1 bed cardboard box to afford an LFA 😂
  22. Pre-covid a group of us attended Beaulieu as F cars, self organised by one of the group I believe, so if you can organise it then crack on 😄 Too many things came up this year for me to attend anything really, did a few GRRC related items and will be at Bicester Scramble this weekend and maybe some other small events before December.
  23. Ahh yes only the finest juice for our thirsty machines!
