  1. I hope I remember this thread, a lot of interesting points. I won't be getting round to mine until the new year, finally secured a workshop and need to kit it out for the LS restoration. I do have a friend who specialises in audio upgrades/ modifying etc. I can only apologise I won't have any insight until Jan/ Feb time. I also have a spare radio as a trial piece/ spare parts should we make any errors. Currently using a casette bluetooth adaptor for my own music, but the guy I bought it off left 6 CD's in the changer, ranging from Metallica to Golden Era Hip Hop. I look quite the 'white gangster'... haha!
  2. Interesting, no problem with mine so far but I do remember others mentioning something about a lack of coating in another thread. you'll likely pay double... up to you really 🙂
  3. https://www.bremboparts.com/europe/en/catalogue/lexus-gs-l1-f-url10/000117800-1 Brembo link above 🙂
  4. autodoc or buycarpartsnow recently did all 4 corners, oem brembos and I verified with part numbers
  5. What money do you WANT for it and how much money do you NEED for it? Advertise it somewhere in between those numbers and be willing to take your NEED value if offered, depends how quick you require the money. F cars have been hit and miss with quickness of sale, so sometimes approaching a dealer might be your best option over a private sale but they will undercut you, to of course mark it back up to make their cut. With the market the way it is, somewhere in 30's is probs your price, depends on your car options and an overpriced market isn't your fault, but if you competed with the 15 plate cars, surely you'd win?
  6. I mean, I loveeee my F, but that right there be a chancer!
  7. Wasn't the valley plate 'issue' a US only and IS F not RC F problem?
  8. Got a Xmas/ new year adventure planned in the NW of Scotland so thought it wise to sort some winters out for the Mrs' NX, just wondering if anyone had any wheels already mounted with winters they'd be willing to sell me? Just want the added ease of a quick swap over rather than 4 tyres on/ off, do said trip and then pretty much immediately switch them back. Intend to have more adventures but thinking in the long term, would just be easier/ smarter to have dedicated wheels for each? Call me crazy, tried the known selling sites to little avail but will continue to look. All comments and thoughts welcome
  9. Howdy! I am sure everyone who clicks is thinking another 'what is the best winter tyre/ recommendation' etc... BUT alas you are wrong! 🤣 Got a Xmas/ new year adventure planned in the NW of Scotland so thought it wise to sort some winters out for the Mrs' NX, just wondering if anyone had any wheels already mounted with winters they'd be willing to sell me? Just want the added ease of a quick swap over rather than 4 tyres on/ off, do said trip and then pretty much immediately switch them back. Call me crazy, tried the known selling sites to little avail but will continue to look. All comments and thoughts welcome 🙂
  10. Poverty spec! No sunroof! 🤣 Does look nice but fml that price is crazy, think mines worth £40k now according to this? 🤑
  11. Nooooooo you're selling.... whyyyyyy 🤣
  12. Clearly you haven't activated the SNOW button, some say it is the 007 mode of the F cars 😉
  13. @ben_harmer32 'willtheyfit' is a good place to check, type in current values and then what you want to fit and it should give you an idea. https://www.wheel-size.com/size/lexus/rc-f/ - Should be able to find your current offset if not already known. Check PCD as well, 5x114.3 can sometimes be a git to find in the wheel style you like. Happy purchasing 😄
  14. Usually square in shape 👍
  15. 'Many Lexus models have a button labelled ‘Snow’ near the gear shift lever. If so, use it. Activating this setting allows the sophisticated electronics to maximise grip on slippery surfaces by reducing torque to the driven wheels' Quote from Lexus website regarding driving in snow. But it does say about 1 sentence above it the importance of correct tyres 🙂
  16. Tyres are what you need! 😄
  17. Jealous! Our longer term plan is to move back to Scotland 😄
  18. Also forgot, so better not leave him out @mr2lad has a couple of sets for his car, but unsure on brand, did you know he drives it 2k miles a month? 😆
  19. OP is not UK spec car (from what I gather) so different countries have slight changes to cars ability, it would appear the autofold is the case for this one 😞
  20. Not my thing but the sharpness of that image is mega!
  21. US forums as mentioned above are going to be better for pics of aftermarket wheels and feedback, @B1RMA has a delightful set on his which I think are Vossen. Both Vossen and Brixton Forged have galleries of their wheels on cars which you can search, I did for future ideas when money is available. Happy hunting and of course if you do get some, pics are a must 😉
  22. Agreed, maybe I should have said 'the majority' 😛 - I keep my cars for ages in comparison to friends and family. On the fence regarding the Integra, not sure how to feel at the moment 🤷‍♂️
