  1. I 'think' and with the past few days of mental energy expenditure that is used loosely 😛 but its a techstream potential? It has been discussed before but honestly do not remember the outcome!
  2. it'll knock the fuzz right off his ballz! 🤣 morning cold start is brutal 🙂
  3. The remotes can come direct from GTHaus but likely at a ludicrous bill. Email sales@gthaus.com and ask what they would charge. Easiest is likely to just extend the wiring, and have a small toggle switch that opens/ closes the valve in say the centre console shouldn't be too hard to source something. Mine was wired to the amp under the boot floor, as essentially the amp only has power when the car is on, then the remote obvs gives or breaks the feed to the valves (hope that makes sense).
  4. Think I sent you a pm a while back regarding my exhaust. It really depends what you want from the exhaust (silly question), but hope it makes sense. The bit you have to make the bigger decision over is the mid pipe, this is where sound is gained. US forums have a lot of videos on aftermarket exhausts or youtube videos, but tough to gauge sound dependent on uploaders audio quality. 🙂
  5. Think it is tech inspired from lessons learned from LFA development or something that extent, rather than looking like it. Toyota concept - there is a youtube video with the whole unveil, some interesting reveals and half decent panel of questions afterwards.
  6. Thanks! Yup I agree, still don't think they are permanent future, stop gap technology until a better breakthrough happens - don't know what that could be. Hope we get brum brum ability though 🤣
  7. Definitely agree Is it? Do you have any links for info, would be a good read for me! Fairly sure you have to travel some mega mileage in the BEV to become net 0, ironically the chargers are supplied by non-renewable energy as well - I am of course aware this can change. Also intrigued into the recyclability at the end of a batteries life? Guess we'll start finding out soon enough!
  8. *whispers in fancy computer calculations relevant to each mode* 🤣
  9. Ooft Engineering Explained is such a dopeeee channel!
  10. Errrr... I drove mine home on PSS tyres in snow/ slushed roads - that was squeaky bum time on the back roads and braking down hill to feel the car go light 🤣 The wet is childs play haha
  11. Complete agreeance with you (might be a 1st, haha), we've definitely discussed this on other threads. Volvo compared XC40 ICE and XC40 BEV, the BEV was more polluting to make... A study showed in the run up to ICE's death date, that the population growth in China and India would contribute more CO2 than that saved... However, can't wait for the policy u-turn and the governments flip-flop to suddenly state ICE's are once again environmentally friendly 🤣
  12. Whilst excited to see what Lexus/ Toyota can bring to the market. Mega saddens me to keep reading 'will only sell EV's by...' 😞 - what about my need for brum brum?
  13. Seller has their own 'car selling business' but not entirely sure on this comprehensive 3 year warranty...
  14. Get both, make the swap for the odd track day 😛 very easy DIY.
  15. It is a shame tbh, they are good cars on paper and do look the part. I couldn't justify spending that money for it to have issues so early into ownership!
  16. Hehe, just teasing. Been a slow day, car is gucci. Good photos too, decently photographer known in my local area amongst car enthusiasts. Stark contrasting between the photos used for each of the blue ones!
  17. Was on before the £50k one and has been for some time 🙂 I am aware of this owner and no further comment 🙂
  18. sounds annoying, what part? ❤️
  19. And considering he drives 2k miles a month, they've held on well enough it seems! @mr2lad 😉 😝
  20. In addition to the one for my F, there are 3 other CTEK's in long term use in the family, all without issue. However, I have read very good reviews about the Noco and would consider one, but have been served well by CTEK, so why change...
  21. I have a good family friend who specialises in Alfa's (prefers the old stuff and races them) but his business is booming on the QF's problems so early into ownership. Scuttle problems allowing water to come into contact with the ECU, failing fuel pumps, wheels welding themselves to the hubs... 😕
  22. I think it's one of those scenarios where he has built his name and brand, got it out into every space possible with his motto of 'brand everything' and can now charge a fortune because he's a go to name to have your car wrapped. I'm sure there are lesser known people out there who do an equal, maybe even better job. I do think the brothers Mark and Nico are fantastic at their job though. I second the pillock comment, but maybe a bit stronger worded haha!
  23. Just caught the F at about the 0:48s mark, referred to as 'Lexus', had to pause to double check what car. Wonder if it was the orange one that sat on autotrader for a bit? Love purple as a colour so would like to see the final result. If it's anyone on here, please show 😄
  24. I have that exact charger, used over lockdown with no need to disconnect battery, never had a problem.
