  1. Would be funny if they just blocked you and left the listing as is 😆 That would be a level of petty I'd aspire to reach!
  2. Thanks, I had seen the 'puddle light' option when browsing part numbers online. Subsequent googling has shown that the 430's have an aftermarket option available to them ready built, but I would presume re-routing the body wing indicator wiring to the mirrors is required. When the time comes, if I can source some mirror backs for reasonable money, I'd give it a crack DIY style as the car needs an entire respray so could fettle until completely satisfied. I do have a 3D printer available to me through a friend, but unsure how 'trick' his set up is to maybe print a mirror backing to accept aftermarket installs.
  3. I was merely teasing, hard for it to come across in text on a screen. But to be more sensible, at the time, no, the car was not worth the price tag. 😞
  4. Does such an item exist? I did speak with a guy who bought an LS400 with them already installed but insisted the wing mirror had no part number in the usual places and as it was the previous owner who had installed them, he didn't have a scooby where they came from. So couple of Q's... Was this ever an option for the LS or potentially a JDM exclusive for Celsior etc? I did some googling and found US forum with a '95 set, part no. TR9302, this part number only yields regular wing mirrors, none with indicators and the pics don't quite look like OEM mirrors? So, are there any other Toyota/ Lexus products that offer the wing mirror indicator option that are a straight(ish) swap? Or... was this a customisation of the original part to incorporate an aftermarket indicator?
  5. This didn't age well, but the LFA price however... 😆 I look at importing one from Japan on the regular (gotta love a dreamer) and prices keep on bumping up. Funnily enough, one that sold for $495k is back on the same site up for sale again at $775k!!! 400km difference on the mileage.
  6. Comments also now not viewable? Can see some of their other cars comments, maybe they turn off the critical ones 😆
  7. Hahaha, so you're 'one of those guys'... and I am fully onboard. Internet bullying ftw! I'll find them on insta wait for a reply 😄
  8. There is a video by 'Engineering Explained' on youtube about TVD which also happen to feature the RC F, but for the life of me cannot remember which particular areas he goes into the most detail about, might be worth a shot, plus his videos in general are just nerdy and interesting.
  9. Maybe they are concerned about doing damage - no telling how much/ lack of care was put into installing them. Tbh the previous pic quality was that of a 00's Nokia I hadn't clocked if they were damaged or not.
  10. Andddd pics are up, must say, they've photographed it as if they want to sell it?! 😆
  11. Ignoring the unnecessary attempts at comedy, actually fairly informative and the RC F gets a mention too 😉
  12. #ALWAYSEVOLVING - isn't that Volvo tagline? 😆
  13. Definitely gonna be the same car, likely traded it in for something they wanted as it hasn't gone to a dealer. It's another one of my favourite CAPS LOCK DESCRIPTIONS! 'HUGE SPEC WITH EVERY OPTIONAL EXTRA TICKED' - personal favourite from the ad... so err you mean the 2 optional extras? 😆, then at the bottom of the ad lists them as the only additional exras from standard. Are we bad people? 😆 Edit - Just seen the insta post above me, have they removed front lip?
  14. You can use megazip or amayama to check for correct part no. - when typing in your denso one on amayama, says 'permanently out of stock', so something fishy has occurred! If you need more help, send a pm and I can have a quick scan as I use the sites weekly, it would seem the number listed by Steve is correct, but always worth a double check!
  15. I'd imagine someone silly would be happy to purchase and space it badly for H1 8 BRO - because obvs that is mega cool 😛 Join some facebook 'private plate' groups and advertise it as a 'HI BRO' plate, you'll get some bites. Pre-warning, the groups are full of chancers, so be prepared for a lot of flack if you do join. Oh and brace yourself for every other post being a '..51 NGH' variant plate for £20k, as SINGH is mega popular/ common surname and as others have stated, for the right person, a plate can be priceless. As a 'private' plate owner myself I do understand the call for them, but the crappy spaced ones do rub me up the wrong way 😆
  16. Hahaha 'nicely' - 'Listen here mate, stop disgracing that wonderful car with your potato advert pics' Better late than never! Offer to take some pics 😉
  17. I wish the one for £31.5k would too and change those god awful pictures! 😆
  18. Looks very mean dude! 💪
  19. Lube it is! I'll get the KY out 😆 Will try the quick fix and give it a more detailed look in a couple of weeks.
  20. Fantastic modifications, very jealous of the USB locations. Also loving the guide for the aftermarket stereo, will be copying it all down for sure when the time comes! I will also be opting for a reversing camera as I didn't want to ruin a rear bumper. What model are you using/ going to use?
  21. Have enjoyed around 6-8 months worth of daily driving the LS, wafting about is so damn relaxing, except the refuelling bit, 99 Esso is an eye-watering price! Workshop is around 2-3 weeks from completion, so the restoration can soon begin! However, it would seem it knows it is going in for repair, it just doesn't want me to take the key out!!! I have a singular key so cannot make a comparison with another to see if it is the key being dodge or the barrel. Putting key in and starting is no issue, but switching car off and trying to remove key is proving tricky. The only way I can get it out is turning the car off, then restarting and immediately turning it off, key releases everytime. Any similar experiences or insight from others? Fingers crossed it lasts!
  22. I see that fish you're dangling... 🤣😛
  23. It isn't but, I've already annoyed enough people on EV based threads so I'll say no more 🤣
  24. I'm always a pessimist with these things, especially the LFA, it was meant to be a 'one off' demonstration of Toyota/ Lexus ability to build a super car. I think re-using the LFA name won't happen...yet, I think it is being used as clickbait in this case. Japanese car making is somewhat in-line with their culture. I remember reading or watching an interview regarding a 'future LFA' and I believe the response was that if it were to happen, it would likely be 20 years time, sort of inline with the rebuild time of their holiest shrine (personally I think it is amazing). This powertrain mentioned, certainly could be used in 2025, but for now I think it's all Japanese whispers 😛
