  1. I don't really believe in putting in much of a deposit, maybe £1k if they insist. Some manufacturers and independents do allow much higher percentages these days. The TE has been discussed before, bit of mixed bag. Could have done a rear seat delete, maybe some more power and as a 'Track' car, I don't think it would hold up well, plus if you do ding it, £££ bills I'd imagine. However, considering the F range is an infant compared to other cars M, AMG etc lines, bravo for them giving it a go. If money allowed and as an enthusiast, I would have one for sure. Launch control might help....maybe 😆
  2. So because I have an itch to scratch (all the time), made a few more moves on finance quotes for an RC F TE. I know it isn't everyones cup of tea, but may be of interest to others. Have done all of our cars through PCP (except the LS) as I like to make money do work rather than be tied up - each to their own! RC F TE (white) £77550. Deposit was 0 but £2k put up by dealer. APR 3.9%. Monthly of £1214.95 for 41 months. Final payment/ GFV £33,075. Max mileage 28k. Looking back at the original figures, shows how times have changed. Might also get a finance quote from an independent as comparison.
  3. White and red, best colour combo 😉
  4. 'There you are my beauty... no not you love, the car!'
  5. How was the LFA loaner car, bucket of bolts right? 😛 Glad to hear the car is back and as it should be!
  6. Must be senile, totally wrong weekend, might still make this! 😆
  7. I can understand what you mean, but most mods can be undone to some degree and it doesn't mean the car hasn't been loved 😄
  8. Good spot, I think it has been re-trimmed on the cheap to some degree as there is also a faded 12 o'clock stripe.
  9. It is my stag do, I can't make it 😞
  10. It unlocked the extra bhp mentioned in the ad 😉
  11. Keep your toys in the pram mate, keyboard warriors don't fair very well in this forum. Do you agree that there is a possibility that you could experience no problems using a 3-pin plug? ADMIT IT ALREADY. 🤷‍♂️😆
  12. I had a right old nose about one at my local dealer, was interested in swapping out the 300h the Mrs has now. I have sadly heard conflicting information - you'd think they'd learn about the product they are selling... I have been told that it 1. Does not recharge itself and you essentially carry dead battery weight after its 40mile usage - thats pants if you ask me 2. The battery is constantly recharged through braking/ coasting etc and then if fully depleted, the combustion engine can recharge it 3. The battery has 40 mile range, does not get charged as you drive, but once depleted, the combustion engine recharges it Hopefully there will be some clarity as all the mis-information put me off and the 300h lives on!!
  13. But back on topic, @4969_LXS I will have a better idea by end of this month on availability, what is the closing date (if known) for confirming attendance?
  14. Bit off topic (woops) watched a youtube video of one being supercharged in the US, tasteful gains. Do the 430 engines hold up well to being charged?
  15. And the ad now up on well known selling site too! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/393926523874?hash=item5bb7d9bbe2:g:l8kAAOSwpO5iBK3S
  16. There is a white one up for sale on LOC facebook group, some choice modifications depending on what your taste is, on the surface seems to have been well loved, might be the 'right' car 😉
  17. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133773121259?hash=item1f257fd6eb:g:5m8AAOSwU9Rgr5X2 I'd be haggling on that bad boy 💪
  18. Stick an F badge on... legend has it, it unlocks extra bhp!
  19. Thanks for the memory jog, consume so much stuff online, hard to keep u with it all! Witchcraft it would seem 😄
  20. I'd have to buy an IS F first... brb 😆
  21. I think most collector cars these days are ludicrously overpriced and 100% not worth their asking price, but if someone is willing to pay the money, then I can't really argue with that! Yes with $700k there are several cars you could buy and enjoy with change left over, but.... If I could afford an LFA, I would daily drive the **** out of it 😆, rock up at all my local shops and wear the scruffiest clothes I owned, listening to death metal 🤷‍♂️ only live once and I would likely never financially recover from it, but what a ride it would be!
