I think it is on Esso website why they have to put the E5 sticker, 'technically' it means 'can contain up to 5%', so despite being 0, they still gotta put the E5 on it. I ran the GS on V-Power and then switched to Esso once I realised it has no ethanol 🙂

Vastly different experience for me.... I got paid to work from home, my company didn't think to provide me with a laptop (essential as it needed correct software to access our system/ database), so I basically got paid to train our 8 week old GSD and watch Netflix 🤷‍♂️😆. Flip side was, as soon as we were allowed back into office as essential/ key workers, I was numero uno on that list! 😞

Wonder how many times we've crossed paths then without knowing?! I usually do Simply Japanese at Beaulieu or Supercar weekend. At FoS pretty much every year as well. Got a lot more free time available post-pandemic after swapping jobs so making up for lost time! 😆

Noiceeee, I usually do Vee Power or Jap themed one too. Also heading to classic car one this year to have a nose about, such a nice drive down for me to Goodwood, I go to as many as I can really 😄

I double checked the fluid spec and ordered some and I'll do it next week. I am at the 6 year mark but 50k miles, so thought sod it why not! 😄

Manual mode change from 1st to 2nd has always been 'odd' for me since first owning. Downshifting from 3rd to 2nd has also always been 'odd', had always just accepted it to that way haha! Maybe I should get mine done, unless it was done without me knowing in previous services, would have to check documentation.

I have heard about RSR springs being pretty decent too, just to throw another name into the ring, hadn't needed to consider the AVS aspect for mine, but as mentioned above, the US forums tend to be the place to do some digging 🙂

Put me back on the list, RC F heat shield is ever so teeny tiny different to GS F, and I am not cocking up modifying it. So one GS F specific heat shield pretty please 😄

It would appear Billy already has the intake (just checking in pm's now), so you may have to strike me off. I will have a nose about and see if anything else tickles my pickle and let you know 🙂

I quite fancy the carbon intake heat shield for mine, happy to send money to cover it being added to order and splitting shipping? 🙂

Will never get tired of hearing the delightful idle an aftermarket exhaust can provide and of course the grunts from the revs. We'll have to have a sound off some time 😛

Newlands corner is a short drive away if weather is good with ample parking or plenty of pub gardens in around Guildford area. Just have to check on the parking availability on the pubs if a lot of us show!

Congrats and welcome to F club, now an official F-er 😉 Have a good nose about, ask all the burning questions as we're a laidback lot 😛 I bought my GS F from Hedge End funnily enough, if it is the same group from a few years back then they were a nice bunch. What a lovely treat post-service, recommendation numero uno - get an exhaust!!! Hampshire seems to have a lovely collection of F car owners these days so maybe you'll see some about and I am fairly sure there are atleast 2 (I know of) in the Southampton area. I commented on your Simply Japanese thread, but the F forum is where you'll likely find meet up details etc, there is a thread going at the moment for late this year if you fancied it, I am trying my best to attend as many events as possible this year starting with FoS!

LOC F cars attended pre-covid, small bunch of us but we got out little day out in the sun. F cars don't get much recognition outside of Jap only events. I have so much on this year, I'd have to speak to the Mrs and see whats on the books!
