  1. Only joking about the sleeping but as a potential LC500 owner can I ask how good is the lane keeping and radar cruise etc? Is the lane keeping a full car-keeping-itself-in-lane-perfectly for 20 seconds type system, hands off the wheel, or is it just a vibrating steering wheel as you head off in to a hedge while replying to a text? I believe there’s different settings for the level of lane keep assist, I’m just interested to know whether it’s Tesla-level hands-off lane keeping (but without the panic braking) or more basic out of lane vibrations and pulling back into lane? Dealer I asked didn’t know (!) and suggested a test drive to see what’s what, but I’d appreciate real world experience if anybody uses the system on a regular basis. Thanks!
  2. I just spotted my first EVER moving LC - a red one in Heaton Chapel, Manchester. Previously seen a red one parked in Swansea and apart from cars at dealers that’s it. Todays spot looked awesome, even at 10mph pulling away from traffic lights. Happy new year!
  3. Just logged in to say wow I love that green and brown combo. I may have already watched that video… along with every single other LC video by now I think. I think the American market name for the terrane khaki is nori green - as above they’re the same colour. It’s a stunner - my local dealers hybrid demo car was green and it’s perfect to show off the curves of the LC. Photos don’t do it justice. Serious amount of mica in the paint, it almost glows in bright sunlight. The tan/brown interior looks great too - I’ve not seen another like it - the car has 21” wheels AND a sunroof, similar to the limited edition blue cars? It must have been an option available for only a short period of time. I’d bet that colour combo is unique in the UK? Interesting to read the magazine article - I didn’t know this edition existed. More interior pics please! Andy
  4. Very few wheel places will have the skills to repair this finish - that’s why there are cars for sale with sprayed silver or gold wheels instead. I was told there’s a place in Trafford Park Manchester that can do them but it won’t be cheap.
  5. What an immature thread. It’s 2022 you know, not the 1970’s. Now, if you’ve all got those silly comments off your chests… oh.
  6. A Sport Plus was up at a Lexus dealer until this week at 54995 - cheapest for a while - I think they are starting to move down… but they’re rare and reliable so my guess as an owner-to-be is there’ll be a bit of downward movement this year but mid 40s is a long way off. Future classic I reckon… for as long as we’re allowed to buy petrol anyway…
  7. Just to clarify my part number post was from googling the paint, not a result of actually owning something to paint… yet!
  8. Should be this : "3T5 Sonic Red / Radiant Red / InfraRed PZ448-W3T51-09 (The lacquer in this kit is tinted to achieve the correct colour once finished)" 🙂
  9. Yeah, I think that's the plan. Not quite ready yet - current car will be up for sale in a couple of weeks. Realistically a coupe is the best option, then hang around on autotrader on a daily basis... no change there then...
  10. Ah. Thank you for the info - 13 months and counting - ouch. You'll have bought the green over ochre one - very nice - I've seen that combo on a coupe and it's a really great colour, very english if that's a good description? Aston-ish I suppose. Enjoy! Right, back to the drawing board. Coupe plus tarp plus hacksaw. What could go wrong...
  11. Hi, yes I was watching the two that were for sale - Edinburgh's silver/red at 85 and Sheffield's green/ochre at 100 that dropped down to 90 then both sold. My budget in all honesty is a coupe around 60-75-ish but for a few dollars more a brand spanking convertible to my spec does appeal. Man maths!
  12. Afternoon, my first post! May I ask LC convertible owners how long it took from order to delivery please? Driven LC500 coupe, fallen in love, WLTM convertible for fun in the sun/drizzle.
