That sounds like a great deal! I drive less than 10k miles so should be covered.
Thanks for the help!!!
Edit: the 15 year warranty is the great deal, not the £6k repair 🙂

Hi all,
I've been driving 2005 IS250 and it's the best car I've ever owned however, I am looking to purchase my first hybrid Lexus. I am considering GS450h or IS300h (both 2012-2014) with around 100k. Posting this in the GS forum as this is the one I am leaning towards.
From my understanding, because the cars I am looking at have done 100k+ miles then I won't be covered by the extended Lexus warrant. This makes me concerned about the potential cost of replacing the hybrid batteries. I don't mind taking the risk as long as I know how much the potential bill will be.I will really appreciate it if someone can share how much they've been quoted for hybrid Battery replacement or refurb (specifically for GS450h and IS300h). And also, is there another potentially expensive repair around the hybrid system?
ThanksBoris

Your solution worked, Texas! I just unplugged/plugged the connector on the seat heater module and now everything is as it should be.
Thanks,

Hi. I have 2005 IS250 and during the last few days the ventilated seats start blowing air randomly (not very pleasant during cold morning drive to work).
It happens almost every time I am turning the car on and sometimes can continue as long as I drive (other times it decides to stop after few minutes).
I can't control the ventilators with the controls on the central console. If I turn the controls towards heating it heats up and blows air at the same time. It always does it on both seats simultaneously.
Any suggestions what could it be?
GS450h Premier vs F-Sport Suspension

Hi all. I am looking to buy a GS450h mk4. Looking at the different trim levels, both the Premier and F Sport come with an adaptive suspension (AVS). So my question is: is the suspension on the F Sport harsher than the Premier or they are exactly the same?
I prefer the looks of FSport but comfort is higher priority for me than looks.
