This is probably the best you could use. The plastic cover won't come separately. They mark very easily so you do have to be careful when cleaning. https://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-cleaning/shampoo-polish-wax/meguiars-plast-rx?cm_mmc=Google+PLA-_-Car+Cleaning-_-Shampoo,+Polish+&+Wax-_-560711&istCompanyId=b8708c57-7a02-4cf6-b2c0-dc36b54a327e&istItemId=-xaixqwwmta&istBid=tztx&_$ja=tsid:94971|cid:865695745|agid:43902125015|tid:pla-327612117766|crid:202397318316|nw:g|rnd:16979385340086394231|dvc:m|adp:1o1|mt:|loc:9044975&gclid=CjwKCAjwmdDeBRA8EiwAXlarFpAcI7cXBKAzEOHtW24ZOl3AlEBlMQWregAL_-HzRVfWc2mKvocECxoCeRcQAvD_BwE Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Seized Calipers

That's how mine looked but to be honest after trying heat mine wouldn't budge. I just got a replacement caliper from eBay and changed it over it doesn't take long. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk -
Nothing to report over here. To my understanding it's to do with the poor quality petrol used in the USA Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Unfortunately mine had on the rear seat a few weeks back on the way to the vets. She's normally a nightmare when in the car but was quiet this time around. I definitely need an estate but Lexus won't do them which is a shame. I will keep hoping for a Nx for Christmas Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Check out the flake in that
leelacey17 replied to a topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
Boot lid on mine after using the sun as my guide and removed nearly all marks from it. Probably the best I had got it and it completely shined after 7 hours of cleaning, polishing and protecting back in May. It's the first time I'd seen the flake pop on the car and even now it's still good. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk -
Thank you Mr [emoji232] I did the driveway before I cleaned the car and it took around the same amount of time. We unfortunately live on a main road and it gets dirty very quickly. I cheated yesterday and only did the half near the house to reduce the amount of dirt that comes in. As I've just got back from work I can now see I've got a two toned driveway [emoji849] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Taken advantage of a day off without the better half being at home, to give the old girl a bit of a wash as it was filthy ( car not other half ) [emoji6] It had been about 6 weeks since I last cleaned the car so I was well overdue giving the car a good wash and luckily the sun came out. Love a good reflection so here are a few photos just after I completed it. Not bad considering the car will be 12 next March. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Vland rear lights

Cheap tesco ones are perfectly capable. Keep the pad moist and it won't take long. Unless you want piece and quiet from the Mrs Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk -

Thanks and sorry for all the questions. Would reload go over essence then to help preserve that? I'm thinking of trying that next. Can't wait to see the other updates as I've not seen any detailing work done on one of these before. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk -

I used to have a black type r ep3 so I know about Honda paint. What did you use on the lexus? I didn't see the fleck in the paint until I had my first ever go at paint correction earlier this year but now it really shows up in the sun. Mines currently got Wowo's crystal sealant on it and it's probably the best it's looked. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk -
IS250 SE - Help with Exhaust upgrade.
leelacey17 replied to Nifty IS250's topic in Modifications & Tuning
Think you might struggle with what your after mate. The original exhaust is superb and from what I've read anything you replace it with might start droning and not sounding that good. Best bet would be to keep the revs up and listen to the engine sing Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk -

Morning mate looking good. When you say tickle is that what I say to the Mrs when I say a quick wash and 4 hours later I'm still at it? As your a professional how do you find the paint? And what did you do to it? I really grew to love mine although silver wasn't my first choice, as the shine that comes off it really amazed me. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk -
Yes mate I wrapped mine last year. Not that difficult to be honest and most of it comes apart quite easily, there are videos on YouTube showing how to get things apart. The wrap is probably the cheapest option and cost me about £20 but you can't rush it and make sure everything is clean before you wrap it. Get some samples before you decide as the pictures vs how it looks and how it suits the car vary a lot. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Have you tried a jump start off another car as it sounds like the battery Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

I have the is250 and I simply loosened the cap off the reservoir and slowly pushed mine back in. Haven't had any issues at all. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

You going to continue with the lexus services? Mine had a full history until I had it. It had all the stamps and everything had been changed up to the 80k mark but had only done 31k so it felt like new. I've just continued to do oil and filter changes myself as for me I just didn't think at this age it needed it Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

If it's a creek when you push down on top of the dash about 4 inches behind the middle air vents then there is a fix. I took out the vents and they have a plastic ball that fits into a socket ( rubbish description) . I put some grease on the ball and it stopped. Need to be super careful as you can mark your dash like I did so I need to fix it. The dash is known to rattle a bit toward the front where the windscreen is and you can push rubber bungs down where it joins the window and that helps. There is an upgrade they can do with some of the clips to help as well but means dash off. It's best done if you haven't had the airbag recall done as that requires dash off so is then only a cheap job to fit the new clips. If not I wouldn't worry. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk -

No sorry it doesn't make that noise. That's not a noise I've yet come across I have just had to deal with the normal noises from the dashboard and door cards. Does it make the noise when your driving? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
