  1. Should be fine on a non-hybrid car.
  2. Does the ES have a worse turning circle than say the GS? as I might have to get one day if staying with Toyota.
  3. At least you reserved in I always see people struggling to get out after going in nose first in car parks, I was taught always reverse in.
  4. I don't have a code reader but really should I see them for sale in the supermarket sometimes so I guess they are a bit more mainstream these days.
  5. Are they any Lexus factory's or do they all say Toyota on the side like Tahara plant. I guess Lexus only really exists in the "marketing dept of the Toyota Motor Corporation" I read somewhere that in Japan you have to work at Toyota for 10 years before you can join the Lexus programme. There was a thread on the US Lexus forum about how the ES's for the US market were made in there instead of Japan which didn't go down well.
  6. I have the same tyres sizes on mine and went for Continental Sports Contact 7 set in the summer at £732, I recently found them to be ok in the snow too but I have a normal auto. Black Circles also said recommended some lower rating tyres Y to W but I've read that its illegal to drop a speed rating, if so I could of gone Hankook at 600 for the set. I actually got a discount of £60 on the set for using the Firefox browser extension "Honey" so saved 8.5% per tyre, 732 was the discounted price.
  7. Thanks for your excellent reply I've asked about the range thing on here before but only had daft responses or inflated MPG figures. My GS250 range is about 320 or but you can get about 400 if driving mostly on the motorway despite the MPG barely changing hence why I never go by that only the range, F Sport has 19" rims. The tank on the GS4 is about 5 litres smaller than the GS3 which caught me off guard when I got the 250 over my previous GS300 as the fill up range was less. I don't use main dealer servicing only indie & usually pay in cash so only I know what's been done but keep on top of it all. I had a new set of tyres in the summer & black circles were even cheaper than my cash guy. I think GS450H (GS4) is about 430 full tank range, I guess the hybrids are better for town driving stop/start.
  8. I don't have the heated wheel on my mid range F sport GS4 but its certainly a lot warmer to the touch in the winter than on my GS3 that was sooo cold it felt like bare metal on a winters morning.
  9. Just remember "Joe's motors" can't fix your hybrid 😉 Still I would love to know the full tank hybrid range on both the 450H & 300H.
  10. I'm surprised in this over politically correct world we live in they can still call it "Japfest" 🤣
  11. Welcome to the forum. GS4 has the 3 flash aka triple turn indicator my previous GS3 (07) did not, when I owned mine I would of loved a hack to add it as my previous car to it a 2004 530i had it.
  12. I saw a LC in that lovely blue colour last week in London Colney of all places 😆 and have seen quite a few over the years still only seen one GSF ever though.
  13. RWD only. Good to know for the future though so if its really bad I can select Eco with snow mode.
  14. I was little surprised earlier to see I could have snow mode on in Sports+ 🤣
  15. I've been using Aldi's for years now used to cost £1.99p for 5ltrs but now cost £2.99p still good value.
  16. On the GS3/4 too. One of my colleagues has a Toyota CH-R & has made it to work all this week no probs, Luton to Colney street.
  17. I think Eco mode on the GS just limits the aircon so maybe the same on ES.
  18. The blue colour is so alluring.
  19. Hopefully we will get a nice loaner car to try.
  20. I see some lower priced GSF's at main dealers now has the bubble bust? https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202210251043798?year-to=2022&model=GS F&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly New&onesearchad=Used&radius=1500&postcode=al49ha&make=Lexus&sort=price-asc&advertising-location=at_cars&page=1 https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202212132494629?year-to=2022&model=GS F&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly New&onesearchad=Used&radius=1500&postcode=al49ha&make=Lexus&sort=price-asc&include-delivery-option=on&advertising-location=at_cars&page=1
  21. The heating & ventilation on my GS4 is certainly a mark up from my GS3 so they were getting better.
  22. I thought all hybrids/electric cars were harder to drive in the snow due to less gear ratio's? I guess driving in the snow tells you if you made the right tyre choice when opting for a budget set 😉 265 on the rear for me & wider tyres give you less grip in the snow.
  23. I had mine done just before 60k on my V6 GS250, OEM Toyota/Denso iridium tips as per the user handbook at my indie £130 cash, I watched him do the work & it was less than 1 hour maybe 40 mins.
  24. I saw a lovely looking ES F Sport in a dark metallic red earlier.
