    Isn't this more of a issue with cars fitted with the sunroof as it drops the celling down a inch, I find a lot more room in my GS4 without it vs my GS3 with it.

    After hearing nothing since March and starting to wonder if I would ever get a call back... I was driving past Hatfield earlier today after taking my 2 year old on his birthday to Paradise wildlife park so called in & they said they had just had a delivery of the part so its all booked in for 14th Aug drop off in the morning and take a loaner car drop back later that day.

    Not had the heated seats on for quite some weeks now must be still cold up there 🤪 Ventilated all the way since April now.

    I did ring & was told the part was oos & they would call when it was back in. I also had a letter in the post. I guess the Takumi craftsman are all on holiday.

    Been waiting 2 months now for a call back as the part was OOS in March at Hatfield. I always get my car serviced at my indie & the experience with the above won't temp me away from him any time soon.

    Finally got around to calling my local Lexus Hatfield dealer today & was told the part is on backorder & they will call when its available to book me in with a CT/UX loaner for the day.

    GS4 was probably the last great Toyota saloon ever made with the hybrid being perfected by then.

    I've always been happy with the GS4 infotainment which has often got criticism from reviewers that will only use it for a few hours so I'm sure I could get used to the ES when the time comes. I have the mouse thing not the touch pad.

    Sports + is AVS it hardens up the suspension & makes for a harsh ride on the 19" F Sports tyres.

    I had the same thing at a BMW dealer with (battery sensor in the boot recall) the dealer said he knew nothing until I got a letter.

    The GS3 cabin filter holder is over engineered & moves down on a electric mech when in a certain mode unlike the static GS4 so maybe someone tried to force it down to replace it.

    Its funny how most cars these days are fwd compared to back in the day when they were all rwd.

    Those Goodyear blades that Costco sell are a bit noisy too in my experience. I currently have Bosch on mine made in Serbia 😆 pretty much silent.

    One thing to remember is your in a car so prob not the best place to judge audio quality its always going to sound a bit harsh. My home 2ch system (Quad + B&W) sounds a lot more balanced as its in the right environment. ML home systems cost upwards of 15K so I'm not sure how the car version compares, but you do get a separate amp in the boot in the GS so its not just some upgraded head unit or badge. The standard audio system is from Pioneer I believe.
