    I had one of those protective stickers on my 2013 GS4 ML sub that I bought a week today it was off the first day as not a fan of them, didn't leave any residue.

    Yeah I had a 2004 530i E60 before the GS3, owned it for 7 years leaked oil for 6.5 years labour of love great drivers car just a little thin on specs 😉 I think the luxury might have the sound generator too makes it sound better than my old 3.0 litre lump in the GS3.

    Poking around on the internet last night found out that the F Sport IS had this & the GS does too, I checked under my engine cover. Which explains that nice sound the engine makes when pushed harder.

    Happened to me on my GS3 it was the only thing that went wrong on it in the 36k I put on it in just over 3 years. Cost £350 cash at my Indie inc fitting for a proper Denso part.

    Its for audio it has it already for calls. The red leather in the GS4 at first made me think of a tarts parlour but has grown on me & everybody thinks red is best.

    There was a GS250 Luxury with sundroof on AT last week with 154k on the clock for £6200, I was slightly tempted.

    I was sad to get the call about it been a write off but I am now the happy owner of a GS250 F Sport with red leather interior & ML sound alas minus the sunroof of the S190 but cabin has loads more head room & I feel more comfortable in it & at least the light in the boot is in the middle now 😆

    That's the price they gave me ^ You know all this time I didn't realise just how much a step up the GS4 was over the GS3, WOW 😁

    I have to say the Japanese mini cab IS never did anything for me but I like the RC we were in Lexus Hatfield the day before I found out my wife was pregnant so that was that idea gone 😝

    I had it on my GS3 at first bought a better shielded cable & it was sorted.

    I replaced mine with some Ridex from Germany all worked ok.
