  1. Dan try this site mht wheels they've got a car builder with the Lexus isf on so you can see what each wheel looks like on the car it's pretty cool, the company builds wheels for rotiform and many others been looking at the niche wheels myself
  2. Not overly keen on it think the wheels let it down they should have been a more sharper design to match the bodywork instead they look like there more of a smooth design
  3. I will do no problem Dan
  4. On another note I went to the performance car show at the NEC today and had a good chat with some guys who worked for ohlins they've put me in touch with someone up my way who supplies and sets there suspension up so hopefully that will be on the cards now .
  5. No I ended up cancelling I waited until after the new year so it'd been almost 6 weeks got a full refund but as the guy above as said I'm pretty glad I didn't get it now Ive ordered another one off a guy I got the carbon spotlight surrounds off and they were good quality so hopefully nthis will be the same, James I'm sorry to here that I hope you got a refund was it ruso garage ?
  6. That picture on eBay is my car 😁it takes a bit of fiddling to get the OEM mesh to fit but well worth it for the price I thought.
  7. If fake tips are good enough for Ferrari and Lamborghini why do folk moan about a Lexus having them really grates on me that!
  8. It's funny you should say that my dad came over to help me fix the door and he said " I reckon it's the extra padlocks you've put on that's attracted the little blighters" well it wasn't blighters that he used but close to that. Very true about not making it too hard a good friend of mine got woken up with his young family by some thugs basically offered him his life or keys to his newly purchased e90 m3 I think I'd have sooner them found the keys than my kids seeing that happen.
  9. bit off topic but last week I was checking on my little beauty giving it a start up( I don't drive it in winter) my garage is located away from my house anyway long story short there was a guy who I immediately had a bad feeling about so shut the garage door and forgot about it. Woke up early the next day took the dog for a walk past the garage and someone had tried to pry the door open at the top with what I presume was a crowbar, luckily ive installed heavy duty padlocks either side otherwise it would be gone, if anyone's aware garage doors with the locking mechanism at the top are not the best at securing and can be opened in seconds! I'd really like to wire the door handle to the mains incase they try again
  10. Looks absolutely stunning, the ceramic coating is one of the best things I've come across for protecting paint plus it makes it loads easier to clean nothing really sticks to it
  11. I hope you were touching something wooden when you typed that🙂
  12. £450 in the first month of ownership for the water the from Lexus the car had 64000 miles at the time I think, luckily they spotted it when I had it in for a service rear tyres seem to go down pretty quickly though I wouldn't have a clue why that is 😯
  13. That's not a bad option, would certainly save on potentially wasting some serious amounts of cash
  14. That is some predicament to be in, me personally I would want them to cover the cost if it is the wrong diagnosis as like you say it's throwing money away if it turns out to be more serious it's collateral you could use for a new engine. Saying this though it does seem a reasonable explanation that the Lexus tech has come up with, metal does expand when warm so that could explain the chattering on the chain but it's all "coulds" I feel bad for you I really do there's nothing worse than been in situations like this I've been there a fair few times and almost smashed a few cars up in frustration.
  15. Thanks for the info Dan 👍 ill have the corner splitters up for sale soon as the new one comes could have done you them cheap too typical eh😁 I like the look of those ducts something else for the list I promised myself I wouldn't go mad on this car but that's not happening
  16. That is a ridiculous quote I've seen whole engines going for 4k, I'm pretty sure there'll be an Indy Lexus garage which would be a lot less than that it'll just be a case of finding one that's confident in working on this engine.
  17. Message him and tell him you got the link from the forum I told him id be putting it up I'm pretty sure he'd do it for the same price I asked for the discount first and then he put it up for me to buy.
  18. Wow I think your both as bad as each other come on what's the whole point in arguing on like this you don't live long enough to waste time being negative to other people especially on a website!
  19. No problem, the whole kit is a very good price imo, £500 is not bad at all. That grom vline looks like a nice bit of kit think I'll be looking into that 👍
  20. Think you better be getting practising your massage techniques like me buddy, woman+ spending cash on cars =👿 ://www.ebay.com/itm/253271346357
  21. I'm glad I read your post I've just spent an hour browsing and ordering I can't believe they can do discounts as cheap as they are I've bought two full service kits for a BMW and a Subaru with Castrol oil for the price of a good meal , so thanks for that 😀
  22. Yes that's the one they've got a website rusogarage it is, looks like theyve got some decent stuff on there just need a smaller diffuser and a spoiler the that's the bodywork done.
  23. No it's the front lip and the carbon sides there made to fit the isf, on the fog covers I think there a replacement part I'll see in a few weeks time how it all fits.
  24. Just ordered this kit in carbon for a very good price I just got the lip and sides as I'm not overly keen on the diffusers on white cars think they suit darker colours a lot more, it's on eBay if anyone's interested also ordered a set of carbon surrounds for the spotlights it's surprising how much stuff you find on the web with a bit of effort put in. I'm really starting to like the look of them vosens in the picture too think I'll be putting extra massage time in to the wife a drop a few hints for Christmas😂 you never know!.
