  2. Cheers! Well it's been in since last Wednesday I've rang a few times but it's not done yet, they did reckon about two hours to recode it plus I needed a service and mot. I'm getting a bit anxious now it's been a long time and I'm not a fan of big bills especially when I've not been informed if there's extra work involved
  3. I highly doubt anyone will do the same 😂, basically I stored the car away for winter the battery lost a bit of voltage and seing as it was 10 years old i thought I'd get a new one, I presumed the terminals were the same way around as the stock battery big mistake it blew my fusible link,22 blade fuses and the main ECU. Yes I really did that I can't even look at a battery anymore!
  4. Bit too far for me I'm up near Leeds, ive been told it's a lexus dealership only job to code the ECU to the car not sure of how true it is but I've tried a few auto electrians and that's there reckoning, its booked in for Wednesday at lexus Leeds hopefully it won't be too long of a job
  5. Not too sure just how ever long it takes to do there thing with the computer side of things, on a side note if you ever need a battery changing I'm a dab hand at it 😂
  6. Certainly is, Stupidest and costliest mistake I've ever made, managed to find an ecu but will need coding to my car lexus have quoted me £130 an hour to sort it!
  7. Just got news back from ecu testers my engines ECU is fried and non repairable think a bottle or two is going to be drunk today!
  8. Anybody got the phone number I need the engine ECU off it
  9. Wow that's ridiculous I pay less for a traders policy no way I'd even consider that, what have you been doing drifting round the streets of London?
  10. Good choice of motors liking the legacy looks sweet in black, I was looking for a usb isf but couldn't find one at the time I was buying great colour on these cars.
  11. Very nice, you got any pics?
  12. Cheers! Like the legacy's is it auto or you managed to find a rare manual
  13. That's for my business but I do go out in it occasionally to test the pub crawls out before I offer them for sale got to be done 👍
  14. I love estates always Chucking something to transport somewere or other, I've also got an E46 330d running 300bhp and a forester xt which I'm using at the mo untill it sells.
  15. Nice! Might actually be able to see it this year If I get my finger out and get out.
  16. Not sure if anyone's into BMW's here but just got this at a very reasonable price, already got the full drivetrain package to swap it into M3 evolution spec with a 43000 mile engine! I'll be working on it most Sundays so can see it being a long project,I've got a thing for fast saloon cars and estates so this fits in with the ISF perfectly.
  17. Be sure not to drop your car too much when you get the front fitted mines already got scars dotted about and the undersides not in a good state at all.
  18. Good find (in a fashion) I might need the steering ECU off it.
  19. Don't think I'll make it parts only just come today to fix my little mishap, maxed out with work so got about 2 hours to fix it.
