  1. I started having the same intermittent central locking issues when my battery was on its way out. Sometimes only drivers door would open. Since I put in a new (car) battery I've had no issues at all.
  2. Not sure how easy it would be but once the failed rad is removed it would be interesting to have it cut open to see where it failed, might indicate a design fault or if its internal corrosion due to age.
  3. Really sorry to hear this, I hope your car is back on the road soon. So it's looking like there been 3-4 instances of this failure noted on this forum over the last year or so. Would preventative maintainance be replacing the radiator?
  4. I cant remeber exactly but it was approx £250 for fitting. It was quite a lot of fabrication work and took a fair few hours. I think Wellsey had them shipped from here: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/qtp-qtec33
  5. I see your West Mids based, same as me, if you would like to take a closer look sometime and hear it just PM me
  6. Just found the box in the garage, it's a qtec33 low profile model. I think all in it cost me ~£450 Inc fitting which took a fair chunk of the day. I also had mine fitted at SRD based on Wellsey's experience. They are 150+ miles away from me so it was a long day but they were brilliant and I would wholeheartedly recommend them. I looked locally but had no confidence id get a decent job done.
  7. Ive had the same QTP valve fitted to my ISF for over a year in exactly the same way (in fact Wellsey sold me the spare valve he had). No issues at all for me, tbh the only times I've closed it are for the MOT.
  8. It's not far for me so will probably attend.
  9. Disc's and pads cost are utterly ridiculous, Lexus Coventry quoted me ~£800 to replace front discs/pad which i thought was steep, i paid £150 for Brembo pads and disks from ECP during a 50% off sale.
  10. Awesome and congrats, one of my all time favourite cars in all variations. I was actually looking for an early RT/10 before I ended up with my ISF, just nothing available anywhere near my budget at the time. Just make sure you bring it to one of the F meets in the future 👍
  11. Yes £5 to park, i don't think it was an event day either. It was very busy though.
  12. Briefly met Twellsie above at Caffeine and Machine yesterday. Aston alloys looked great 😎
  13. I can make this 🙂
  14. Not far for me, would deffo be interested.
  15. Maybe bronze? bronze on white does look nice and would be a bit different from the norm. Tbh im not a massive fan of black wheels as you lose the definition of what the wheels look like. They do look good if you go full black on black though.
