  1. Hi Lee. My rear view camera is superb. It shows the top of the rear seats and the view out of the window is surprisingly great. You wouldn't think so by its positioning but the videos I've seen blew my mind. Saves a ton of time, stress, wire routing etc etc. My camera is mounted next to the rear view mirror and as far up to the roof lining as possible. I've attached 2 photos of how rear camera looks and connects.
  2. The rear facing camera attaches to the front facing one. If you look on yours with the lens facing away from you, on the right end you should see a rubber grommet thing covering a socket. That's where the rear camera slots into. I'll post a photo later.
  3. Nice one Lee. So you used the drivers side fuse box. Great to know you like the 552GW but I'm surprised you didn't get the rear camera with the main one. I got my 332GW I got it from ebay from nextbase themselves. It was a reconditioned one but the rear camera came with it. Yes you can access it via Bluetooth. Enjoy.
  4. Hi Chan. What difference have you noticed with the f sport intake?
  5. Well that got me googling. CVT is a modern more efficient version of DAFF variomatic. Hope that helps Len.
  6. Ooooooops I totally forgot about the car lol. Great video 🤣
  7. I asked because your profile stated is250 Premier. That's 3rd gen. Mine is 2nd gen SE-L. Can't answer about the DAFF55 but I can't see a truck having CVT. I've driven auto 7.5t and not heard of a truck with CVT. But in essence CVT is CVT so in the Daff it'll be a variation of with similar drive.
  8. Hi Lage. Look at the picture I've posted. This is my Bluetooth set up to stream music. No need at all to remove the radio.
  9. Len. The is300h is CVT which is constant velocity transmission. Your is250 (is it 3rd generation?) is a proper auto box.
  10. Thinking of trading down to an Audi? Save your money and get a Lexus is300h Premier.
  11. Blimey what a great thread. Quite an eclectic taste. This band has been out a good while but escaped my radar but thanks to Spotify this song came up in the section songs you might like. That was only a few months ago. So hopefully this link works and some of you may like ithttps://youtu.be/W3lsqUqGTzM
  12. Wow perplexed, now that IS a word and a half. I'd never have thought of that. Well done 👍
  13. I've yet to watch that one Herbie. Still going through my 9 dvd's
  14. What? A washing machine in the boot of a RC300h??????? Was it a toy one?
  15. Excellent news Gary. When you get the car take a detour home and enjoy your new car. Good to know someone else likes to listen to METAL the best music there is in my opinion (been a metal head since I was 6). Don't know what spec your Bmax is but titanium spec and above the Ford system is one of the best, I've had 4 mondeo's and 2 focus.
  16. To counteract the horn wires being cut get an alarm fitter to install an internal siren. I used to have two of them in my cars in the 80's and 90's and believe me when they went off your ears would bleed. But it's also a good idea to have a separate external siren fitted to work with the cars alarm system.
  17. Get a bottle of ZX1 and pour it in your engine oil. I've used it in every car I've had in the past 25+ years. An example. A neighbour has an oldish S type jag 3.0 V6. Only starts it twice a year. He told me about the top end rattles. I told him about ZX1. He got a bottle. A few days later he knocks on my door saying 'expletives thanks Vlad that stuff is great' no more rattles.
  18. Aren't threads excellent for going for walks elsewhere? Quite often the original question is totally lost and an answer is given to a fictitious question. Do t you just love forum's 😊
  19. Errrrr that photo taken from the owners manual referring to rotating tyres. Read it. For cars with none directional tyres. Geeeez. How many times must it be stated. Directional tyres must never be rotated on the same axle.
  20. Awwwww I'm sure you'll get used to it 👍 You'll love your is even more
  21. It's OK to physically move the butterfly valve because for one the battery has been disconnected and two the multplug on the housing has been disconnected so the ECU is none the wiser. And yes idle revs are higher after a throttle body clean and there is a system you use to calm it down. I posted it but forget where but its one of my threads about maf and throttle body cleaning.
  22. Lexus dealer Stockport m8. I think I get a bit of discount being a regularish customer. Bought my 2nd is300h from them and had each of my Lexus cars serviced there.
  23. Blimey Linas your statement about the Turanza not being a directional tyre made me just go out and look at mine! Mine which ate the T005 don't have an arrow for direction But as clear as day the word Outside. Now that could just be because the tyre has a rim protective lip which is one of the reasons I got them. Gary you need to tell us your cars tyre sizes front and back and what tyres are on the car.
