  1. As above. Just take the card out and plug in to your 'computer'
  2. Hi Paul. Millers is about £13.50. Dependant on if you use a single shot (bottle has single and double doses) you'll get about 20 full tank fill ups before you need another bottle. Oh to be able and be in the position to buy petrol by the tanker load.
  3. Mmmmmmmm speed limits. Now that really is a contentious subject. I drive for a living. Ok it's limited to 56mph but boy oh boy do I see far to many unnecessary speed restrictions on our roads. Far too many cash cow cameras too. Blimey I know of 2 roads in Bradford where in a stretch of road no longer than 1 mile with no schools or shops just houses there are cameras spaced out about 500 yards or so. To reduce the motorway limit to 60 is stupid. It must be a good 20 years or so ago the police who cover the M4 did an experiment. They monitored traffic flow with unmarked cars and the effect at the motorway end where traffic jams were terrible. Day 1 the police had a marked car doing 70mph. So you can imagine that All traffic stayed at 70. Oh dear the jam at the end of the motorway was worse than the monitored day. Day 2 the marked car travelled at 80mph. Yes some cars travelled at 80 and others below that. The jam at the end of the motorway wasn't anywhere near as bad as the day before. Moral of that experiment Raise the limit to 80. Nothing came of that experiment. Shame.
  4. I've used Millers petrol ecomax in 2x is300h and the RX450H I had. Used it as I've been using for decades and out of habit maybe But those cars ran silky smooth and especially the 300h ran very economically. No issues at all with those hybrids running millers.
  5. Try an Italian tune. Excellent for diesels. Should be done once a fortnight.
  6. Well put Graham. The Millers I use I started using it about 18 years ago in my beloved MG ZT diesel after chatting with a travelling salesman who swore by it in his diesel. I noticed a cleaner running car and when I moved back to petrol I carried on using it. Call it habit. Call it what ever. Do I notice any difference? I don't know as I've not stopped using it.
  7. It's more economical I've found to use supermarket fuel and the additive I use. Millers petrol exomax which I've also used the diesel variant.
  8. Over the years their has been numerous debates not only on this forum but two of the Ford forums I've been on about Tesco Momentum. Yes it's been a couple years or so but the gist was keep off it. Why? Because at that time users of momentum their cars developed major fuel problems and major costs to repair. It was found that the fuel had water in it. As for the use of supermarket cheap fuel. Balderdash to those who slate it. I've used it for the past 20 years in the petrol cars I've had and the diesel ones too. But I've always used an additive. Millers and there's been no issues whatsoever. Mind you when E5 petrol becomes none existent then the 'super' fuels will be the only option unless an ethanol resistance additive is used with E10 petrol.
  9. In the last couple of weeks I've been blown away by this band. Villagers of Ioannina City - Age Of Aquarius / Villagers of Ioannina City https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cr7u-F3Uuyw
  10. Wow Bernard that LS400 looks outstanding. I'm sure I've seen that car before somewhere but shame about the totally silly exhaust. That particular car needs a double duplex system then it would be the dogs danglies.
  11. Yeah I see your point John. Personally I didn't find the article interesting But yes it could be a useful reminder to others. Anyway I had nowt else to do but read the whole article lol.
  12. We use to like Brigitte Bardot from back in the day but not now. Modifying cars is a personal thing. The car you posted Tariq is a personal taste which means the rest of us 99.99999999% of folk think it looks gross. However the photos Peter posted are really quite excellent 👌. So please don't give negatively to fellow Lexus owners where ever they are. We choose Lexus because of various reasons as do those who modify them. Even changing tyre manufacturers from OE to a different brand is modifying.
  13. Blimey didn't that reporter have anything else to do that day except state the bleedin obvious? The only interesting part of that spread, to me anyway, was the top ten list at its end.
  14. Welcome back to Lexus ownership. What made you go for the UX300E?
  15. Might look good but not recommended. Don't think the boot is made to carry nearly 1/4 ton. Oh it handled not so good either.
  16. gji25. No you don't have to remove the airbox to change sidelight or headlight bulb. I did mine without having to do so. Yes Malc. Stupid design. Mind you it's tight under the bonnet of the is250.
  17. Re nextbase being expensive. Possibly if you buy new and the top of the range one. I got a refurbished one c/o ebay and from Nextbase ebay shop. No it's not top of the range nor is it the base model. With it came the rear facing camera which slots into the front facing camera via a socket on its side. The quality of the rear camera considering its by the rear view mirror is nothing short of excellent. Oh the price for both cameras? £99.00. 🍻 Easy to fit yourself with the genuine nextbase hardwire kit. Mist difficult part is finding which fuse to piggyback from. Yeah course there are those none branded cheaper dash cameras and some rate them highly. Its personal choice. So my answer Richard is go for it.
  18. Also get them to check all steering components. There could be an issue with the steering box. A leak or air ingres.
  19. I went on to the HJ site to look for that article but couldn't find it. I did however see lots of answers from a D Powell recommending different cars. I would love to give him a piece of my mind for a most pathetic answer to a simple question. Blimey fancy recommending a hatchback when the OP categorically stated he didn't want a hatchback but a SUV type car.
  20. I think Dan Powell hates Lexus cars and is a Honda employee.
  21. Something tells me someone else had this issue some time ago. Think it's the car not liking iPhones as its Bluetooth is different. No problem at all with android.
  22. There's been a thread or two about a 'noise coming from the front wheel. It's weird how noise transmits itself. Someone found it was indeed the exhaust heat shield come adrift.
  23. Hi Lee and welcome to Lexus ownership and the best Lexus forum there is. Since you've had a 4 wheel alignment and your tyres are new the only things to consider are that 1 the camber of the roads will always make the car steer left. Another thing to consider is are the brakes binding in any way? Our cars suffer from sticking rear brakes. Lexus do Not service the brakes on any service. The rear brake caliper slide pins seize through lack of grease maintenance. Check all brake caliper slide pins for rust, dust, any damage what so ever. Look on the forum where there's a lot on this brake subject. Otherwise don't worry about having to micro adjust your steering. Your is250 is probably the best car you've had and runs perfectly true that it's because of this you've not noticed it on any other car you've had.
