  1. Whether Lexus want to be mainstream or not I think there will be conflict within. Yes the German cars are seen as snobbish but isn't that purely down the the crooked motoring press? Crooked yes. I think their reviews are cough cough bought.
  2. I've seen what I found to be the ES300h in a most fabulous blue with red leather interior. Most definitely a Lexus. The UX do what it's based on something else But it's way better. I love the UX250H as much as I love my is250 and its the car that one day will replace it. Oh and yes it is a Lexus.
  3. Re yuasa batteries. Just this August I bought a new battery. A Yuasa. Took it home charged it but it was faulty. Took it back and they swapped it no problem.
  4. At that price it's a no brainer. Plus metal fatigues over time. Safety is paramount therefore both sides should be changed. Take your car to a garage with a lift. Ask them to check and then go from there. Not all tarmac surfaces are flat. Lifts are.
  5. Very true Bernard. The biggest difference between here and there is they get a much bigger choice in model range. To put it in perspective. They get the Full cake. We just get a slice. They're a massive market but we are just a small market easily saturated by the many car manufacturers.
  6. Who likes Rallycross especially from yesteryear? Then feat your eyes https://youtu.be/-U-zmmGlXG0 Hope the link works. I've subscribed and am looking forward to many more races like this one. Enjoy.
  7. wow Colin. You must have not really been bothered about bikes back then. I was and always will be a Yamaha man. Mainstream? No. Just followed in my brothers footsteps where bikes was concerned.
  8. Lexus will Never enter the mainstream. As already mentioned Lexus is a niche product. The only way Lexus will become mainstream is if it were to drop its quality standards and price of products and market their products massively like the German manufacturers do. Its that simple. What motoring press articles say is purely to sell more of their products.
  9. You know what. Reading through this thread I got a massive hit of dejavu.
  10. Yes David. Funny watching him get out especially when he's trying his hardest Not to catch the door on the fence.
  11. Is your phone Apple or Android? The photo shows an Apple phone. Your car should show Apple Carplay. Looks like a confliction between the two.
  12. Hi Edgars. Don't worry about this issue. In freezing conditions just about all cars door handles and buttons within freeze. It'll only be a problem if it happens in normal temperatures. A trick is to spray silicon on things like door rubbers handles etc. Just a light coating.
  13. Yes mine was a 62 plate. But I'm wondering because the car in the video is quite new hence I'm interested in what owners of the newer ones think. Did comfort take a dive from older series cars to newer ones!
  14. I've just watched a YouTube video of some bloke with a newish RX450H who complains his shoulder blades hurt because of the comfort pack in the driver seat. Has anyone here suffered the same? I've had a RX450H f sport and not once did I have an ounce of discomfort when driving it and not even when I did a 3 hour drive. Below is the video. I'll be Intrigued by your replies.
  15. Can't comment on that Colin. All I know is what I trust in. And blimey I've not seen kaspersky mentioned anywhere in years. Yes checkpoint is the parent company but if one cares to look on their site they'll see a few top flight companies using their products. Where tech is involved I'm as thick as a brick so I take advice from only those I trust when it comes to tech. Nice of you to comment but not on the actual problem on this thread.
  16. Hi Alan. I've had that also for a while. Blimey Herbie. ZoneAlarm has been available all that time. Best online security there is. Used by professionals. I use to use Norton but that was ruddy awful as it totally took over my computer that I could hardly do anything. Only way to uninstall it was by wiping the hard drive clean. ZoneAlarm has the best customer service too. Best if any company I've dealt with. Think I paid about £30 to protect 5 computers phones etc.
  17. Hi David. Do you access the forum on your smartphone or computer?
  18. The VPN I use is c/o ZoneAlarm. I've been using ZoneAlarm for easy 30 years. This issue I realised about an hour ago is due to an update to ZoneAlarm that occurred yesterday. I've been in touch with them and they're looking into it. Thanks for your post John.
  19. That photo is what I've experienced. Can't understand why a VPN can affect a site when you're on it. I know it can block you from getting onto a site but this is ridiculous as its never happened before.
  20. Has anyone experienced when on the site that when on a thread and you scroll down that another page namely the home page covers what you want to read. I'm experiencing this. I've cleared cookies and cashes etc to no avail. I've noticed however that if I disable VPN the site is as normal. I'll try to post a snapshot of what I mean.
