  1. Yes lovely and calm commentary. I recommend looking him up on YouTube.
  2. Yes I started a Zen Motoring thread But this one All Lexus drivers need to see. Never have I seen so many Lexus cars in one TV show. Unfortunately this video dispels that Lexus drivers are calm. This video proves otherwise lol Enjoy
  3. I have no doubts about what you saw on the M4. I'm sure those will occur more often. And as for those 'trundling along' at 55-60 mph those drivers need arresting for driving with undue care and attention. They cause so much stress to HGV drivers and their ignorance to those HGV drivers is unbelievable.
  4. Really Peter? I didn't know that. Wonder why BBC3 would show it but there again they show some weird #hit. lol
  5. Zen Motoring. I saw this in the guide on my TV. I thought to myself I'll record it to see what it's about. I watched it today and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was funny. It was accurate. It was bang on. I thought this being 1st of 6 roll on the next one. What? It's not showing to be on! What's going on I wonder. A search on Google and it seems what I saw was the last one. So 1st of 6 meant 6 of 6 because 2nd of 6 was a few days ago and so on and so on. Just seen another 13 minute masterpiece on BBC iPlayer. I thoroughly recommend you watch it. Peace be with you.
  6. Use Car Vertical. Yes it costs but it shows mileage from day one of the cars life. Data from wherever the car got serviced.
  7. True Lucas. The day I did it on I kept it in 4th and on red line for minutes at a time. Fun was had 😁
  8. Nothing added to a tank of petrol will help clear carbon off the inlet valves tops and seats. Nothing. Those additives above help clean fuel injectors. As for taking a motorway blast once a run as Lucas stated that's no good really. However. Go on a motorway blast in manual mode and select gear 3 and stick to 70. That'll rev at about 4k. Do 80 and the revs will be about 4.5k. Keep it on cruise control. A while back I did a run from Manchester to Leeds in manual mode. Did 80 most of the way and red lined it a good few times. Didn't do the car any harm but it did kinda clear some cobwebs. Sounds fabulous doing that.
  9. Blimey. Where did you see those?
  10. Thanks Bernard. Got no choice really. Need to be 100% to do my job tho I am looking for another job easier than this one.
  11. OMG that brought back some memories Ed. Nationwide on the tele. Oh happy days. Can't for the life of me remember that presenters name but what a guy. Not noticed fuel prices of late. Will have a mouch to asda tomorrow and have a look.
  12. lol I keep away from what looks icy
  13. Oooooh there's a lot of 'get out' clauses there for the warranty supplier.
  14. Well it's been a short while. Saw my doctor today and got another sick note for another 3 weeks. I'm now getting full nights sleep because I can now, was able about a week ago, lay on my right side and on my left, where the crack was/is, side and that is a massive relief. Still got a niggling discomfort but no pain. My work involves pulling 0.5 and 0.75 ton pallets. It's the pulling I'm not ready for as it involves the latimus dorsi muscles (the ones on the side muscles) which are the main ones used in pulling. So it's more watching YouTube videos lol. Oh my breathing is back to normal. I'm going on 2 and 3 mile walks. It's just brain numbing not being at work. Oh well such fun being 60 lol.
  15. I didn't realise that Phil. It makes me wonder that if all the car manufacturers are saying like that Mazda geezer and telling governments then I'm quite sure they'll be listening and taking note. But are those manufacturers actually telling governments directly? My thought is along the lines of how this government kind of fought to get the likes of Honda and other car manufacturers to build a plant to make cars here. The concessions they made etc etc. The government must surely have listened to those manufacturers and their 'demands' (can't think of a more relevant word) so the manufacturers signed the dotted line. Something somewhere must be getting lost in translation where governments listen to manufacturers and the like.
  16. Maybe the TV advert for the UX showing 'young' adults enjoying life and the UX.
  17. https://cardealermagazine.co.uk/publish/mazda-europe-boss-2035-ice-ban-is-a-disgrace-of-the-politicians/278089 Crickey. A big boss of a car manufacturers coming out with this. He's a top geezer 👍
  18. Great article by Ray Massey. Below is a YouTube video from a vlogger I quite like. The circumstances of the results well could have happened on any day. The video outlines the lack of working chargers. Enjoy
  19. https://hydrogen-central.com/new-hydrogen-car-travels-2000-kilometers-single-tank/ I've just read this really interesting article regarding VW and hydrogen and a 2000 mile range. WOW.
  20. It looks like it could be an interesting article Phil. I'd like to read it but I've no intention of subscribing to any newspaper. What was the gist of that article?
  21. WOW Scorpion alarms still in existence. Back in the 80's they were the best of the best.
  22. It's this John that I may of misunderstood. Crikey I remember that awful song from whenever. I loathed it then and still do. I have Metal running through my veins. That ABO wind company's idea sounds really good. Must be damn windy all the time in Hunfeld or windy enough all day to keep those huge blades turning to produce that 4.8 mega Watts. Wind farms are great but the ones we have here on land and in sea which amount to a lot of them but they only supply a small percentage of power we need. That's what I've read recently.
  23. Yes it's a shame not to trust a Russian company. Some of the world's ultra best tech folk are Russian with a minority hating the Russian government
  24. Yes Mike and that's where no conclusion came about. Far too many fake type videos showing before and after and using a boroscope. The most stupid fake one was with a guy with an accent almost unique using the same ruddy car time and time again using different sprays. The most convincing ones showed what they call heat soak. Spray the stuff in when the engine is hot then leave the stuff to 'do it's thing' then start the car up and enjoy the plumes of white/grey smoke billowing out of the exhaust. I just wish I had the nowse to strip a top end down but at my age I just ain't got it anymore. I will however buy a boroscope and take a plug or 2 out and have a look to see what's there and go from there. I'm hoping in that since new my cars had its oil changed at around 4.5k mile intervals that the coke might not be bad. I'll look into walnut blasting this week to update where does it.
