Not sure if this thread suits what I'm about to say but hey it's my thread and I'm knackered but with all this utter rollox about ULEZ clean air zone rollox but what the hell are those poor folk in London who use the busses to get around only to find 15 or so routes have been axed !!!! What are they meant to do? Get an EV? I don't cocoa. Get on a bicycle? Doubt it. Use a car? Probably. Oh and get stung for that so called clean air tax. It's a tax on the poor and who ever devised this tax needs horse drawn and quartered. The evil bar steward.

Yes John perhaps the CO2 that would come out of the cars still be the same as of fossil fuel cars But the point is they'd be true CO2 neutral which can't be a bad thing I feel. Maybe even the CO2 out of the cars running the efuel might be less than fossil fuel cars then ruddy hell its a win win for petrol heads like me 😁

It's actually an offence to use either front or rear 'fog' lights when it's not foggy. As for rainy conditions geeeeez those pea brains who turn on their rears causing a dazzling effect and distorting somewhat the vision of the driver following. Front 'fogs' because they're so low don't 'offend' unless some burk puts more powerful bulbs in. Overall its a pet hate of mine also Bogdan. So rear 'fogs' go off when Mercedes cars go above 30 mph eh Peter? Personally I find that stupid and irresponsible. I've driven in fog numerous times and on the motorway faster than 30 mph as have 90% of other vehicles.

To answer your question personally I'd go for Fully Comprehensive. As to which company all I can suggest is get a quote from your current insurance company then try the comparison sites and companies that do not quote on comparison sites. Yes it's laborious but it has to be done.

this is one way to repair your seat. Another option is to find a 2nd hand seat. There are a few dedicated Lexus breakers and I suggest you look them up and see what they have.

Steven I've just re read your thread. You mentioned adjusting the handbrake towards the front of the car. Using a clock face where is the adjuster? 12 o'clock 3 o'clock 6 o'clock or 9 o'clock? Reason I ask is a few weeks ago I serviced my rear calipers and took off the rubber spyhole grommet but could not for the life of me see the adjuster. Reason I wanted to adjust was because I'm having an issue with the handbrake warning light flickering on and off and sometimes staying on. Yes possibly a dodgy sensor or a wire I know but since I stopped using the handbrake no warning light issue. So it's a culmination of adjusting at the rear wheel and at the foot pedal.

The quotas on fruit n veg is because of shortages. Spain and Italy, where most of the fruit n veg come from, have suffered with bad crops because of weather. wow Mr T you did well freeing up that caliper. Basically any grease will do But Do Not put grease on the Ends of the shafts or in the chamber the shaft goes in. It could cause a hydro lock. A spray oil is fine in the chamber.

No need for storage of hydrogen. Looks like fuel prices have been falling slowly but the price of electricity not. So as the title of my thread its starting to look like it's costing more to run an EV on shortish journeys. And after reading/watching some articles that home chargers run on a special rate night rate. But the actual time in hours of the reduced rate is only 4 hours. Ooooop because of the cheaper rate the rest of the 20 hours the cost of the electricity has gone up ! Those with home chargers and a night time special rate please confirm or correct me please.

Certainly not David. In 1985 I was knocked off my motorbike ending up with a cracked hip socket. 6 weeks in traction (which was brilliant time because of 16 bed ward 13 of us were bikers lol) and 2-3 weeks on crutches then back to work. 1982 misjudged a right hander and backwards into a fence. Dislocated arm. 4 weeks later back in work. Had many more bike prangs lol that's where I got the name Mad Vlad lol.

Malc. If you watched the video where the JCB boss was driving the 7.5 ton truck powered by a hydrogen engine you'll get an idea. That engine was a 4 cylinder and either 4.0l 4.3l or 4.8l but probably the 4.0l and it sounded throaty but the recording was pooh.

JCB I've just watched a superb video regarding their development of hydrogen engines for their machinery vehicles. Its fascinating so I hope you enjoy watching it. Get your popcorn ready lol
