  1. Does anyone else suffer a wind noise from their is300h's drivers door window? I'e just noticed that at speeds above 60mph there's a wind noise coming from the top of the drivers door. I' looking for both yes there is a wind noise and no not on mine replies. Many thanks
  2. Try using a leather food/cleaner regularly and you shouldn't have to swap seats round.
  3. Yes I forgot to mention the 4 cars breaking down scenario. I find that hard to believe and more of a fob off. I' going to test the dealer I bought my is300h from due to bluetooth issues and rear view camera not showing up on the screen.
  4. Thas bad luck. As for that stain. Is it not possible for you to take out the seat yourself? Have you looked underneath directly below where the stain is?
  5. Seconded. I assume you want to do the job yourself but get some advice from a car alarm specialist. Fitting a tracker properly will take a few hours. As stated above the tracker should be well hidden which means your job is hard in that it'll involve disassembling your interior.
  6. Might be your age ikeja. I found mine only this weekend and that's after one weeks ownership.
  7. I'm not a business user. The car is actually mine and private use only. My commute is 28 miles 5 times one week and 6 the next and a trip to Leeds from Rochdale at weekends. I personally like the idea of an oil change every 6k miles, it's something I've done to everyone of my cars both turbo and none turbo. It's just me as I care about my cars engines. I'm also a lover of ZX1 and all my cars have had it. My engines have been mint. As said I'll contact Stockport Lexus about a personalised service plan.
  8. Good info Rayaans and accurate. My car did have a service before I picked it up. My service quote is for Full 40, intermediate 50 and Full 60k and cost is £1345. I think that's fair enough however I'll contact the dealer as if service intervals are every 10k miles then I'll have to negotiate a service plan once a year at around 13k a year mileage. I'll specify that an engine oil change will happen at 6k intervals at someone like kwikfit.
  9. Oh? Well my car is a 64 plate with just 21.2k miles on it. I'll have a proper read of the offer when I have time and report back.
  10. Hi Rizmo. Just read your post. Go on the Castrol website and you'll find your answer there and for engine oil too.
  11. I've been sent details of a service plan over 3 years costing £1300. That's for 2 inters and 1 major. I'll have to find out if at this price all filters and plugs are included.
  12. Personally I'd stay well clear of cheap none genuine phone chargers. I've had 2 phones knackered by them. As above have said use a (genuine to your phone) cig lighter socket charger.
  13. Hi Tel. Thanks for your input. How can I find out what version software my car has? I do happen to have another phone to try but my note 4 connects successfully to my earpiece and tv soundbar and connected to my last 3 cars with no issues at all. But out of curiosity I'll try a Samsung s5 that I have.
  14. Pardon my ignorance but is this firmware update for satnav only or for Bluetooth also?
  15. Hi William. Excellent post there pal. I drive mine lime you do. This was told me by the sales guy who had training from Lexus on how to drive CVH. I'm chuffed wirh it's economy too. Way better than my previous car (Ford Mondeo titanium x sport ecoboost ) but that did have tons of torque and 240hp but it's auto box was really very good. No knocks bangs or judders but silky smooth and quick gear changes But my is300h is smoother with its transmission and suprisingly not much slower when ahem flooring it lol (well you have to play with your new toys don't you lol)
  16. Hi Mark I don't know what version software I have. But I'm waiting for the dealer to phone me as he said he would and I'm going to get him to book my car in to get the latest version for gratis.
  17. Hi Rayaans and thanks. I didn't have any Bluetooth issues with the 14 plate car I had but this 64 plate seems to have a glitch. I'm expecting a phone call from the dealer as he said he would and I'll mention about a software update. Today I thought I'd listen to music via the aux socket. I didn't notice a difference to music quality over bluetooth so I swapped back but low and behold even tho my phone was connected I couldn't get any music to play. I shut the car down and restarted it and guess what the music came on. Come on lexus Stockport I'm waiting for my call lol
  18. Coz I always give things a 2nd chance and this car I have now I love it.
  19. When I picked up my new, to me, is300h premier premium and shown the ropes the sales guy asked if it like him to pair my phone to the car. I said yes. It took a few attempts before my phone connected. My phone is the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Ok I thought and the car proceeded to copy my phone content list and messages. Great I thought and of I went. I could get text message on my infotainment screen which the nice lady read aloud to me. I even got emails showing. I could listen to my music c/o spotify. I did notice however that the track listing didn't change as the track changed. A couple days later no text messages came up on screen but did on my phone and no emails either. I did a reboot of my phone but no joy. I removed my phone from the cars bluetooth and then struggled to pair it to the car. I've managed it bug my phone stated lots of times to make sure that lexus Bluetooth was on. It was. My contact list is on but text messages and emails are not coming through. Have there been any issues with the lexus Bluetooth module? I've read on here how to do a system reset by pressing and keeping pressed the volume control. I'll try that tomorrow. I'd welcome all replies. I only got my car last Saturday that I may have to phone them to see what they can do.
  20. Last year i bought an is300h premier premium. Initially I loved it but soon grew to loath it. I couldn't get to grips with the CVT. The ride was ruddy awful and a few niggles here and there. After 5 weeks of ownership I got rid. That was a 14 plate. I now have a 64 plate premier premium and what a difference. The ride is sublime and the CVT is lovely (mind you the car in between was an auto box so perhaps I got trained in to CVT). Even the Mark Levinson system is better than my last is300h. There are no niggles either except that I may have a Bluetooth issue but I'll post that separately. I'm chuffed with the fuel economy which I wasn't with my last one. So how can 2 cars being the same car and spec be so different? I look forward to all replies.
  21. Hello Mark. I've got a Premier Premium (as advertised ) and it's my 2nd (a new post is coming soon) and I've had this one just under a week. I agree with your review and love this car. I supposeafter you having a 3 series with I drive you can do a good comparison between the information systems. Personally I find the lexus system very response though I feel I may have a problem with the bluetooth side of things (new post coming) but everyone will have their own reviews on it. Enjoy.
  22. Hi there. Yes my name is Vladimir and I'm back on this forum with my 2nd is300h. My 1st a year ago was basically a rogue car and nothing like my new one. Oh both being Premier Premium spec and both Celestial Black. In just short of a weeks ownership I'm loving this car and I'll be keeping it far longer than the 5 weeks I had the other one. I'll be starting 2 posts so please do read and comment on one and help on the other. Cheers.
