The Mark Levinson system was an option on the Convertible SEL. As has been said it is quite rare. I beleive that the speakers are upgraded but the convertible, due to space restrictions, does not have a subwoofer as fitted to the IS250 saloon. I have the standard system in my car and find it perfectly acceptable despite having come from a Mark Levinson equipped saloon. Good luck with your search. Dec.

Hi malcolm, There should be a 10amp fuse in the interior right-side fuse box under the dash which controls "Audio", fuse No.6 at the bottom of the longest row. Additionally there are two 30amp fuses in the engine bay fuse box just in front of the battery which are listed as Audio (Radio No.1 and Radio No.2) I would try the interior fuse as a starting point. Best of luck. Dec.

Could you try taping over the motion sensor? If that sorts the problem then it would suggest that you have an insect/moth of some sort in the cabin which is setting it off.

It's the battery temperature sensor. The plug you have circled should seperate though it may take a little persuading!! -

Hi Ral, Have a look at the attached, it should ease your concerns. https://mag.lexus.co.uk/lexus-uk-statement-on-vehicle-theft/?fbclid=IwAR2R9EDRIvImhhEKqEY_WYdMOVwpykI73qUSaVLs-vTlfWfyjMevD3ve-Kg&utm_source=LexusOwnersClubUK&utm_medium=ForumLinks Dec. -
Totally deflate the front passenger side tyre? Not good for the tyre but if if it is only for a week or two it should'nt do damage.

Lexus must be doing something right. Sales to the end of November are up just short of 60%. Some interesting figures here: https://www.smmt.co.uk/vehicle-data/car-registrations/

They have left the sat nav ariel unconnected. Unit needs to come out again to connect it. Same happened when Lexus did mine. Dec. -
Vin number underneath drivers seat
Beamish replied to Edwin Thomas's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
On our 2015 NX300h the VIN is stamped into the floorpan just under the front of the driver's seat and is certainly not removable. It is covered by a black plastic cover which has to be removed to get sight of the VIN. If this is the VIN position you are refering to, as Colin says, it wouild not appear to be correct. -
Hi Kath, The part numbers are 64530-53032 for the righthand unit and 64540-53012 for the lefthand. The struts are identical left to right but come with a sticker which is located in a differant position for lefthand and righthand and thus seperate part numbers. If you get a set of aftermarket units they will come as a pair and be identical. As I indicated in my post above I noticed a distinct improvement when I fitted a set of aftermarket struts but be advised that it is still heavier than a "normal" boot to lift. Bear in mind that it is a very large unit and this is probably to be expected. Dec.

Just by pure coincidence I came across this yesterday should you need one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/383830958790?hash=item595e1ba2c6:g:rZYAAOSwbV9fwLig&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA0IrCBg2sMKoXuho%2BWdInxGYdjmYYzXeCAtkfuIkENeNj5z5tE5M5mhd1321R6wFq0PBP0zyGfIl1NAItwBp2pe4psaYN%2BJZkMtnSGsZNMBv4WrQyrGgWUEj3xBE8TV4z0x9KQsp3Ko7mVe3xA%2FdApQ9hpxyBBcz1AWBdN3JtVq62ZP1iseXWTOVIAeacjH0oeTDJObXwLJReIWknIQdNUqI7sn0gpNhGdovW55Gwx17Hp%2BGsrAff8%2BVr4h1OD46%2F82VYwF5P%2FXCIAIWfnujDzz8%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR4DS__2jYg

Hi Jeffrey, I bought mine just over four years ago shortly after I retired and have been delighted with the car. I came from a 2006 Mercedes 350SL and the difference in ease ( and cost ) of ownership has been incredible. The Lexus has'nt put a foot wrong and has been a great car to own and maintain. I would disagree slightly with Linas in that I would put the average fuel consumption at around 32mpg, but then again my driving is now quite leisurely and it is not the type of car that asks to be driven hard. The auto gearbox is 6-speed and has the option of performance, standard and snow settings together with column paddle shifters should you feel so inclined! It is as good as any box I have used in my previous cars with changes that are virtually imperceptible though I did change both the fluid and filter shortly after getting the car as part of a maintenance routine. All I can suggest it that you test drive any car that may be for sale in your locality ans see how it feels. Bear in mind that there were only just over 800 of these cars registered in the UK so they are becoming quite rare and the numbers of "nice" cars now offered for sale is very small. Hope this is of some help. Dec.

Hi Malcolm, The link you referenced above is the one I had come across. However, before you commit to anything, I very strongly advise that you speak with your local Lexus dealer parts dept. to confirm the type and generation of the sat nav fitted to your car. The information I gave is purely from memory and would need to be checked as your car may have a later system fitted. My car is from the first month of production and I know there were several updates to various systems early in the model's life. In the end I did'nt bother with the update and simply use a Tom-Tom, with up to the minute maps, any time I need guidence. The original 2008/2009 mapping actually works quite well most of the time. Enjoy the car. Dec.

Hi Malcolm, Your car has the 08HDD Nav system (Gen 6) and there is no "easy" way to update it. Updates are generally regarded as "Dealer Only" but I have recently noticed that some aftermarket suppliers are now offering an updated hardrive unit with 2019/2020 maps for £70. This, of course, has then to be fitted to your Sat Nav unit which opens up a whole new can of worms!!
