If the new model IS was available in the uk, i would buy one in a heart beat.Im not a fan of SUVs.I have mentioned this to my local dealer and the standard response is " we have the ES if you would like a saloon car . The forcourt was full of used ES models , and i must say the second hand prices were holding up very well. Steve

Recall done today , 17 plate facelift . less than an hour to do , when i called for an appointmentp, reception told me , all day !. No free gas tho 😕.

Just got off the phone to dealer service department , they recon its premium nav only but he,s not 100% sure so they will look at the settings for me . So unless someone with a standard nav can confirm otherwise ? It looks like a no go . Steve

Hi wharfhouse, im going to ask at my local dealership , im begining to think that only the premium nav can read aloud text messages . I will let you know as soon as i find out .

Thanks for the reply, just checked the menu and the standard nav says " automatic message transfer " not readout as your premium system does. Hope its just my phone , have to ask when i take the car in for service. Thanks Steve

Hi all , Hope someone can help with this ! . My 300hAdvance MY17 has the standard nav which upon receiving a text highlights a button saying "Read" , you can phsically read it but the system does not read it out loud. Is this a feature only on the premium nav or should the standard nav read out as well, i dont want to change my phone if the car system does not support this , my current phone is an LGC4 , any advise would welcome Cheers Steve

Hi Simon Have a look at the top of your drivers door handle , you will see a oblong depression , when the car is unlocked you just touch this depression with your thumb or finger and the car will lock touch it again quickly and car will double lock . Regards Steve

Hi all Just checked my locking wheel nut case in the glove box , there is only one master key ? But the preform insert has space for two . Do Lexus only supply one or have i got one missing. Cheers Steve

Hi Mark Glad the info helped , my front ones are speed controlled , active when stopped or below 5mph , they turn off (light on switch goes out ) automaticaly above this speed. The switch only turns them off briefly , like if you start the car and your detecting another parked car you can turn them off manually , but they become active again when the car moves off . To be honest i have only just worked out how they work , didnt take much notice until your posts about them.They must be canbus controlled to work like this 😁😁 Cheers Steve
