Had to go to Bolton Lexus today to get mudflaps on my 2018 model NX f-sport. Whilst there got them to update sat nav with software update although I have had no problems.. Apparently there have been problems with the system and iphone 7 and 8 and system freezing/resetting, but as stated I have had no issue with my iphone x. The update is the second one and there is to be a third in just over 4 weeks time.hope this info of some use.

I get the camera beeps on my 2018 model NX f-sport but as Rayaans has stated you dont get the speed limit displayed on the latest sat nav because its displayed on the speedo console.

I can answer some of your queries but not all and the responses are only my opinion: 1. GAP: Its far cheaper if you arrange it yourself. You can find companies and reviews on line. Should save you at least £100+. Depends on if you consider worth it. I do because if in the next 4yrs my NX300H gets written off I get the difference from what my insurance pay me and the cost for a replacement new vehicle. So if £40K and in 2yrs time its written off and my insurance company pay me £20k the GAP would make up the difference to the original purchase price. (This just an easy example). 3. If you want worry free motoring the warranty extension is worth it. You get a manufacturers warranty incuding Lexus breakdown cover. Although Lexus are renowned for being reliable. Hope this helps

The updated NX premium has the ability to open boot by waving foot under bumper. You dont need a key to open boot. If you put your fingers into the boot recess handle you will feel some indentations. The left ones when pressed release the boot and the right one locks it and the car. Therefore no need to fish keys from pocket. The updated model has another button besides the close one which when pressed the boot closes and auto locks the car.

Maybe because you putting wrong size in. Should it not be 225 60 R18 100H

I take all on board what you say Paul. However it looks even better when you take into account that I bought my present NX as a 6month old ex demo in March this year for less than £36k.

After reading members posts I nipped into my Bolton Lexus dealer. Got a test drive in the new uprated NX F sport tomorrow. Must say more than likely going to order a new one because the deal they offering is unbelievable and would be as Raayans says rude to refuse it. The intimated cost to change from my 15month old 2016 F sport is £5k.

Has anyone had the opportunity to test drive the updated 2018 NX. Is there a difference between the previous model regarding quietness and suspension.

Hope it does better than the present f pace. There appears to be a variety of problems with them similar to Land Rover. Read the issues on the forums Etc. Etc. Nice looking vehicle but.........
