    Prices available for the new NX. Ranges inc. plug in hybrid from £38k - 58k. Would appear they on run flat tyres which I not particularly enamoured with.

    Thefts of NX as far as I am aware is extremely rare. In 2020 I believe 37 were stolen with 11 recovered.. With regards to key cloning you can turn off the radio signal on the key by holding lock button down and at same time pressing unlock button twice. Red light will flash. 4 times. No radio signal emits until unlock button pressed. if you concerned about theft then I suggest a tracker.

    I found Direct Line competitive. £525. Alternatively try comparison sites. NFU wanted £1600 last year and I am 71yrs old full no claims clean licence.

    I got rid of my yokohamas after 5000 miles and put michelin cross climates on. Never looked back. What a difference. Shop round for prices is my advice. You are correct re axle.

    Funny enough I was in my local Lexus today after being invited in to consider purchasing a pre reg NX. I showed him the taster picture which he had not seen. Cutting a long story short he disappeared towards the end and then returned saying that I may better to wait and he would contact me with prices once known and if agreed would place me on the delivery list after taking a deposit. This gives credence to what Andy states and I would be surprised if things dont start to happen after the 12rh June. Or perhaps I am optimistic.

    I had this issue. It was the rear number plate vibrating. Additional sticky pads placed on it by my lexus dealer cured it.

    I have read that it affects all years and series of the RX. I believe NX not affected due to position as you say. If I was going to go for an RX I would invest in a catloc.

    Be aware also the RX susceptible to catalytic converter thefts.

    I have just taken out a 2yr service plan plus warranty on my NX. The warranty at £795 I feel is good value. Peace of mind, 2yrs full breakdown cover, 2 MOT’s included plus cover for mot failures. Along with 12mth interest free credit if you wish it. Transferable if you sell vehicle. Seemed sensible for me to do it.

    If you have and use car play with Apple phone and use apple maps speed limits appear top left of the maps and warns of speed cameras verbally.

    Some very good comments re the UX. I had one on loan last week whilst my NX was in for service. The car is excellent to drive and I was impressed with how it did so. However I found the road noise annoying. My wife even more so. I find my NX on michelin cross climates a lot quieter. It may be because of the run flat tyres on the UX but the constant drone was off putting.

    My 2018 nx f-sport does not have memory seats but mirrors do dip when reverse selected. Think mirror auto switch has to be in centre position.

    I used to have this issue but as malcolmw says above a small smear of vaseline or a tiny wipe over with silicone spray stops it. (Not wd40). I used halfords silicone spray and not had this issue since.

    As nemesis states. There are both systems on the NX F-sport from your year onwards. There is AHB and HBA. AHB or adaptive high beam reduces the number of led’s in the headlight lit so as not to dazzle detected oncoming traffic or if following another vehicle. The blue high beam light remains on. You will notice when the AHB kicks in by some of the light emitted reducing. It is automatic and works in conjunction with HBA which is High Beam Assist. Once clear it returns back to fully lit main beam. So in a nutshell your lights are working correctly.

    Called in at Lexus Bolton. They had put the NX that is blazing carnelian in the showroom. Under the lights it looked amazing. I am happy to take back my initial observations which I posted earlier after just seeing it briefly. I would buy it but the boss - My wife - wont be persuaded.

    I use nextbase. My front one being 4k with 128gb memory card. Halfords have a selection and they will do fitting for around £35. If you a gold member of this forum you get up to 15% discount as well.

    Looked at an NX in this colour yesterday at Lexus Bolton. Was not impreesed if truthful. Without wishing to upset anyone who likes this colour or has it on their vehicle, I offer my apologies unreservedly Beforehand, but my better half described it as lexus poo colour.

    I was in my local Lexus dealership last week and was speaking to one of the main service engineers. He said they been led to believe it will be available around October. There is a cost but it is believed Lexus are only going to charge £80 for it.

    Just received a letter from Lexus to say my roadside recovery membership which is due to expire 1st January has been extended free for 3 months. A nice goodwill gesture at this moment in time.

    I do not think the electronic adjustable lumber support is standard on the luxury. I have it on my f-sport and it does make a difference. An extended test drive is the order of the day To ensure you comfortable with the seating on any car.

    The batteries in my NX fobs are over 2yrs old now and are still fine. However I do switch the fob off Overnight as described above.
