  1. Just got my car renewal insurance from NFU. Very pleasantly surprised. Its gone down. Premium less than last year and nothing to do with NCB as already on max. This is a novelty as most insurance has shot up.
  2. If you use key fob to lock then app will not work to unlock. If you use app to lock then it will also unlock.
  3. Its worthwhile to have a look at Lexuspartsdirect.co.uk.
  4. No they will not negotiate. They not the cheapest but they have good feedback. I been with them for nearly a year. Renewal due in September. Best thing is to ring them to see what price or if they will provide cover. They dont always.
  5. Like Andy B states above. Turn the key off. It does not transmit a signal then. Reactivate by pressing unlock on fob. I have always used this method with my present and previous NX’s.
  6. This has been posted before. A member queried it with lexus and here is reply: It never worked on my previous NX.
  7. ROAD TRIP MPG LITE. Its free in app store if apple but would think similar if android.
  8. By February I had only done 867 miles. Like my last lexus it improved once over the 1000 miles mark. That along with possibly changing driving styles as I find the 350h livelier than the old nx
  9. I have attached a photo of my average real world fuel consumption on my NX350 f sport. Most of my usage is local of about 3-15 miles. However on longer journeys the car has reported 64 mpg. Far better than my previous NX. I not exactly light footed so very happy. Hope this helps
  10. I am insured with NFU and also got a refund when I changed to my 350h from my previous 2017 NX. I think its to do with all the safety equipment on board.
  11. I always use momentum having previously only used shell v power. Momentum is £145.9 a litre compared to e10 at £1.38.9 so 7p difference at my local store. you can see the price prior to pumping as once you selected payment, it appears on the pump fuel id box. with regards v power shell dont display price for this until selection made but again before you actually pump any fuel. I have found v power to vary from 15p to 25p premium difference. the price of the fuel selected has to be displayed and you can always return the nozzle to holder without pumping any fuel if you not happy with the price.
  12. The best tyres I ever had on my NX300h were the Michelin cross climate ones. Transformed the car. Better ride, quieter and hard wearing. Excellent in all weather. I would recommend these all day.
  13. My car was delivered end of November 2022 with 2 x fobs

  15. Have you been into dealership to check on software updates. Had mine done last month due to seat etc not always loading for my profile. Been fine since updates.
  16. Feel your pain. However I had my previous NX300h for 5yrs with no issues whatsoever and it was parked outside on street in all weather.
  17. I think you will find that your vehicle, like mine, has run flat tyres. These allow driving when flat at up to 50mph for approx 50 miles. Therefore no spare tyre, jack etc. provided as technically not required as expectation that should the unfortunate puncture occur you are able to drive to a tyre outlet for repair/replacement. Should you not be able to drive the car then recovery is required. Also Lexus vehicles with cvt should not be towed but placed on a low loader.
  18. I have been into my local dealership today to have the sticking fuel flap issue sorted. I asked about the suggestion around updated door handles supposed to have been fitted to the NX due to freeze issues. They said, and I believe them, that they have heard nothing about any replacements nor have they had any bulletins about it.
  19. I had a rattle last week. Trying to find where it was coming from was annoying. However I eventually traced and cured it. It was my glasses I had in the in the overhead glasses box. Sometimes its the smallest things.
  20. My fuel cap failed last week. In at my dealership this coming Thursday for replacement.
  21. Has anyone on the forum had their door handles replaced with a modified one.
  22. As I said I not a clue about android so having to go off my experience with iphone. However with regards to contacts I would still think that you have to give permissions in the car bluetooth setting. Good luck.
  23. As I said it will jot work if android auto has access. Turn off wifi on phone so android auto does not auto connect in background. Go onto bluetooth setting in car screen and you should get to a screen asking you to give access to phone, android auto etc. turn the switch on the android auto bit to off. Once the car is connected to phone then contacts will appear. If you dont switch off the android auto selection on main screen, as soon as you turn wifi on your phone on again it will auto connect thus stopping your contacts appearing in car screen. Sorry its a bit long winded.
  24. I presume you using android auto. I am not an aficionado on android but I found with my iphone that if I turned off apple call play access to system then my contacts could be uploaded and visible. If car play has access it does not do so and in order to make a voice controlled phone call when car play active I have to use “hey siri” rather than “hey lexus”. Hope this advice works for you.
  25. Check with your dealer to see if there is an update. I had this with my NX350h but after a very recent update I have had no issues.
