  1. When I was in process of buying my current Lexus from Lexus Bolton they allowed me an unaccompanied 3hrs test drive plus another session in a different upgraded model which I ended up buying. I am sure they would have let me use for 24hrs if I asked. They even lent me the new LS300H last week for an afternoon to test out even though they knew I would not part with that much money. 😂😂. My current Lexus is my first so its not that I am a loyal customer. I am now.
  2. Very interesting. People need to check then before purchase. Well spotted.
  3. Cheaper at www.satnavdvd.co.uk. Updated my NX premium sat nav no probs.
  4. Further to my response please note the update shows as 02-37-01-(2016-11-1). Hope this helps
  5. Sorry only just ready that. I can give version tomorrow. However the date shown of the maps is 1.11.16 which was newer than my old one.I believe lexus do updates around that time for the following year. Perhaps you may be advised to await until November for the next one.
  6. You very lucky Ian. Can't see many dealers doing that.
  7. I have the premier sat nav and the original card is 86271-30A93. The one he sent installed automatically with no issues and I have used the sat nav on several occasions with no issues. HOWEVER why does the dealer want £796. You can get map update direct from Lexus for 160 euros. If you need advice if you e-mail the provider with any queries he responds generally by next working day. All I did was remove original micro sim. Replaced with new one switched on and it was recognized immediately and updated automatically.
  8. If you wish to update maps on the premium sat nav I have found the following company that people may be interested in. www.satnavdvd.co.uk I have just received and used the update micro sim sent by them. Found it easy. Inserted it, switched on and everything uploaded automatically. Good service. Ordered and delivered 3 days. Lot cheaper than Lexus. Cost £49.99 but if you order 2 map updates you get 25% Discount. Got one for the Lexus and another for sons Audi.
  9. Re it being a second hand car not new re private plate. Mine was a demo model so already pre registered. Still they did it the change over of reg over 7days. Obviously my lexus dealer in Bolton are on the ball.
  10. When I bought my NX the dealership did all the cherished number plate transfer. I bought my vehicle and seven days later picked it up with my own number on it. I did not have to drive it with the normal plates. Its all done on line now so lots easier. I have had the vehicle for just over a month now so the new dvla rules where in force then. So cannot understand why you need to do this rayaans. A fortnight is plenty long enough.
  11. I think the one I have may be the mat you have. Although it is liner because they also do a mat. Howver it does not cover sides or seat backs and is obviously not what you want. I have looked at your link and this is more in line I think of what you require. The thing about the link I gave www.boot-buddy.com appears to be of clear plastic material. Good luck and I hope you get something that matches your desires.
  12. Lexus definitely do a boot liner as I have one in my NX300H F sport which I bought from Lexus dealers. If I recall they £95.00. I find it excellent however it does not protect back of seats. Also have a look at Boot-Buddy.com they look good.
  13. Try an Audi RSQ3 if you can find one available. You got a crossover with comfort, space and power and quattro drive
  14. I have recently changed from an Audi Q3 s line diesel for my lexus. Must say the Lexus is quieter than the Audi and more comfortable and I have had several over the last 10yrs. I have not noticed any excessive wind noise. So far I have found it at least comparative to the Audi and is certainly more economical on short journeys. Granted the speed of the Lexus is different but I was aware of this prior to purchase. I can honestly say that apart from the navigation premium I am not disappointed.
