Eggie replied to Al D-Much's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
Lexus are fitting tracker free to some of their vehicles. Mine is being done on Friday. No it does not need doing but it is an extra bit of theft cover. Its free of charge and comes with 3 yrs tracker subscription .- 1 reply

I can only comment on my experiences with RRG Lexus Bolton over the last 8 yrs. i have found both sales and service departments exemplary. My latest experience was for the latest recall for software update for front camera 2 weeks ago. a loan car was made available and on collection of my own vehicle it had been washed AND filled up with fuel. So no complaints here.

The front camera software recall. Sorry for delay in responding.

I felt I had to put this on the forum after reading some members receiving poor service from some Lexus dealers. Today I took my car in for the latest recall to RRG Lexus Bolton. On arrival a courtesy car was waiting and on my return my own car had been washed. Plus they had filled the tank up. Once again Lexus Bolton hits the mark. I cannot recommend them enough.

eCall indicator lights query
Eggie replied to BonzoSPB's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
Sorry you lost me. There are only 2 lights. Red and green. Once car starts they flash i.e. checking system and then green light remains on telling you all is correct. The only other message displayed relates to passenger air bag being activated. You can disable the passenger airbag e.g. if transporting a baby, but not the drivers which you cannot turn on/off. The e-call system does not activate on passenger/driver sides but activates if air bags activated automatically. -
eCall indicator lights query
Eggie replied to BonzoSPB's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
The manual self explanatory: When the power switch is turned to ON, the red indicator light will illuminate for 10 seconds. Then, the green indicator light will illuminate for 2 seconds and remain illuminated if the system is functioning properly. The indicator lights indicate the following: ● If the green indicator light illuminates and stays on, the system is enabled. ● If the green indicator light flashes twice per second, an automatic or manual Emergency Call is being made. ● If no indicator lights illuminate, the system is not enabled. ● If the red indicator light illuminates at any time other than immediately after the power switch is turned to ON, the system may be malfunctioning or the backup battery may be depleted. ● If the red indicator light blinks for approximately 30 seconds during an Emer- gency Call, the call has been disconnected or the cellular network signal is weak. Therefore if the light is showing green all is working. -

Have a look and see if it fits your requirements. Its by the established tracker company Smartrak Here is the link: https://shadowimmobiliser.com/ -
Beeping on locking ?
Eggie replied to SureShot's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
If you have opened back doors at some stage it will warn you by beeping to remind you check you have not left something behind on ghe back seat such as your child 😂. it can be turned off in the car settings sections. -
This has already been discussed . Have a look at the topic Software update. Basically how it was remedied for me was to reset the media system. You will have to set up radio stations etc again but I now have had no further issues. Takes about ten minutes to input what you lost. Its not as frightening as it sounds 😂

You are not the only one. There is obviously a fault at the Lexus end. Sure it will be rectified. -
Sound adjustments
Eggie replied to Summerbj's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
To alter sound settings turn your radio on. When you have the radio station displayed on screen- On the rights side of the screen you will see 3 dots. Touch them and your sound settings appear and you can set them to suit. hope this helps -
I find the sound quality very good and I have had top quality systems such as Bose in previous vehicles so I can compare. I have adjusted settings such as bass to suit my aged ears and enjoy all music ranging from Classical to Trance. So unless you an avid audiophile I would not worry. Perhaps to satisfy your concerns nip into your local Lexus dealership and have a listen.
