I did look at Flexplus and being over 70 would have to pay extra for Travel insurance, Breakdown cover is on a car by car basis so joint account can have one car each which again no good to us as we also have a Campervan. Lexus cover is on the people named who can own as many vehicles (Cars, Motorhomes, motorbikes or scooters) or be driving a vehicle not owned by them and you are still covered and it is on the back of AA cover. Will stick with Lexus cover used them twice on previous campervan and the AA were great. Negative you do not get the AA tracking app.

I must admit that when I bought my Luxury model it did come with loads of extras as it was the Service Managers car so came with Sat Nav, Mats, sensors front and rear, quite a few other goodies. Reason for asking have just fitted camera and parking sensors to the back and front of my Renault Master Wildax campervan. David

Having just fitted a front camera to my Motorhome (Cannot see the front from the Drivers seat) and having read a previous note on here on a standard fit front camera got me wondering not if it would be possible to fit one on my 2016 Luxury model but if i did could the screen be used? Has anybody done this like the previous contributor I also only have inches to spare with the mirror in to do a sharp righthand swing into my garage. Thanks folks David

Thanks for that Steve so can you just confirm this one will auto start on timer if we are ever allowed to spend an extended period away from home with the Lexus sitting in the garage.

Roger Many thanks for your comments, the reason I do not want to go down the Ctek route as I already have a similar one, but does not operate in a simple way i.e. you have to tell it type of vehicle each time you put 240v to it and my idea was the not leave on 24hr but on a timer for say 2 hours per day. I also have a very old type at least 25 years old which will charge from total flat if required Colin Thanks for the info on the NOCO might well be a better choice.

Similar question so please excuse me if in wrong We have a Campervan and "did" like to go away for extended periods so did also have the problem of total flat battery that the AA sorted for me. Q. Does it seem sensible to connect a leisure battery 110a to the battery vis jump leads as i have both in the garage to keep the battery fully charged. By the way re driving off with the elecrics connected I use a velco strap and a sign on the steering wheel on my camper as a precaution.

Just for info is there a simple charging point?

When I bought one of my campers (Fiat Ducato) it came only with one key, Used a Automotive Locksmith recommended by the garage in the village where I live, he came to the house and was nearly £150 cheaper than Fiat. Quoted before he came there must be similar self employed where you live who will come to either where you live or work after we escape "Lockdown"
