After not having a sunroof on the ISF, it was a definite on my requirements list for the RCF when changing. I agree its a personal thing but I love the extra light and I can hear a little bit more of the Quicksilver exhaust 😀

Some time ago, before i had my ISF, a good friend of mine very kindly lent me his CLS63, which was the 6.2 V8 and it was epic. The noise and the experience was fab and i looked at one seriously before i bought the ISF. I understood that the ownership costs were significantly higher than the Lexus which put me off but it was a lovely car.

Picked her up this afternoon, I knew I'd missed her journey is usually an hour or so back from Cheltenham took three hours......... Anyway the boys at Lexus have done a cracking job on her and I'm immensely pleased, so a Big thankyou to Lawrence and Paul the techie guys and Sam and Alex in service for all there hard work, in getting the colours and finish I wanted.
So with our further ado here she is.........
Big Rat
Looking good Paul @Big Rat. I don’t need to worry about brake dust on mine as i still cant get out of the garage to drive anywhere 😫. Think I will have a complete sense of humour failure if I cant take her to Goodwood on Saturday. Going there is the CMAX just isn’t going to be the same 😳

@Big Rat Great stuff Paul👍🏻
As Paul said a brilliant system - I seem to drive everywhere locally now with the window down just to listen to it - fantastic sound!!
Also well worth the trip to Lexus Cheltenham. Only dealership I’ve ever used where I had a cup of coffee in the workshop while watching it being fitted & chatting with Paul the tech who was fitting it. The Dealer Principle Tim & Alex the Service Manager were all there when Paul fired the car up for the first time to enjoy the sound - they are all a great bunch of people.
Couldn't agree more @DAW

@Comedian That would be good Sean, last year i went round the supercar car park where people pay £200 to park their cars for the day. Some fantastic motors 🙂

@Jon_BJon I’m going, but not on the Saturday for the 1st time this year. Been every year since 2004 with a group of mates. Usually do Thursday to Saturday but this year didn’t work out for the Saturday unfortunately. Weather is looking great which is a result as last 2 years were not that good. Enjoy the day👍🏻
@Big Rat Paul I’m sure you will have a great day. Brilliant event with great access to the cars - cross between a hill climb with pretty much every form of motor sport & a motor show. There is a lot to see & it’s a big place, but if it works out give me a shout 👍🏻
@DAW Hope you have a good one. I agree its a great even, its a lot to try and see in a day. Its where I first saw the RCF a few years ago 🙂

Can’t you get some of your staff to carry the car out? Probably need about half your staff - say 30 to lift the RCF however 😜
Never thought of that @Flytvr. Will have to give it a try 🙂

@Stuno1 As regards the wheels question you posed Stu my car goes in tomorrow to Lexus Cheltenham for a major service and some personalisation, my wheels have been diamond cut once before so I want to preserve 'the one more cut ' for the future so I'm having them fully stripped and powder coated in a dark Anthracite with a slight satin sheen to the surface I didn't want a glossy finish.
And the calipers are going from black to 'Brembo Yellow' I'll post up a thread with lots of pics when I get her back.
🐀
Look forward to seeing that @Big Rat. My car is trapped in the garage currently as the drive is being done and due to the lovely weather, they cant pour the concrete so i cant get it out due to the clearence required at the gates. Ahhhhhhhh 🤪

I always wanted a 69 Charger 440RT. Hired one for my sons birthday a few years ago now. What a noise and what a size 😀

I can make this one - woohoo 😀

@Flytvr I would be interested in protecting my RCF with ngenco. Where did you get this done? I note that there is a place in Bristol that do it but would welcome any recommendations. Front of my RCF is still in good shape, there is a couple of tiny chips but you have to go looking for them so now would be the obvious time to protect it.
