  1. When I had my 2nd generation IS250 I was always distracted by that squiggly blue arrow pointing down to the digital clock.... 😉😂
  2. Good news. Hope it gets fixed ok soon. I imagine that Lexus will be keen on the details as it’s clearly not a common problem.
  3. Look forward to hearing about it when you pick it up. Photos are obligatory please 😀
  4. Can you tell me what cleaners you used for the under bonnet area please.
  5. Looks good! Shame about the spillage in the boot though 🙁
  6. That’s what I couldn’t work out. Same drivetrain agreed but it definitely felt faster.
  7. When I had a brand new IS300h Executive in 2014 my brother in law had a brand new GS300h Luxury. I thought his GS was better than my IS. Quieter, more comfortable, quicker and more refined.
  8. The one I had was a 1999 car but not sure if this was a first or second gen?
  9. How does a service plan work? Is it with Lexus the manufacturer or is it taken out with the individual dealership? Also, is there any protection built in should the dealership go bust. If it is with the dealership. Does it represent a discount on the standard service pricing? Does it include things like replacement pollen filters, spark plugs when due, etc? I might consider this.
  10. Style Pack for £1,395 was an option for the Luxury. Is this sidesteps, etc? Mark Levinson hi fi upgrade not available on a Luxury. Removable towcar available on all models for £695.
  11. List looks right to me. There was also a protection pack available at £450 - boot protector, rubber mats and mud flaps. I don’t believe the powered tailgate was available on its own, only as part of the convenience pack. I’ll see if I can dig out an old brochure I had back in 2016 and then check everything. Assuming I haven’t thrown it! The only nav option on the Luxury is the standard nav. Premium nav wasn’t available as an option on the Luxury. AVS also unavailable on a Luxury.
  12. Maybe test drive one with 40-50k and another with say 80-90k and see if they feel any different to you. If they feel the same then maybe a 2-3k saving is worthwhile.
