  1. For info Here's a thread that I posted a while ago when I had VSC problems.
  2. If it’s an iPhone then It won’t transfer contacts over Bluetooth. I tried a long time ago, failed, did a search and then gave up.
  3. If it is the original OEM Blacktop Panasonic battery then it probably has had its day and these symptoms are a sign that it is about to fail completely, pics of OEM battery in link I posted above. Best sort it soon as it may let you down at the most awkward time. paul m
  4. Panasonic was the oem supplier but these were not available in Europe.
  5. That document pack seems a bit pricey to me so bide your time if you want a hard copy and refer to the ‘e’ copy for now but if you play around with the sat nav you can’t really break anything!
  6. I ( along with others) reccomend the Bosch S4 026 (068), largest battery that will physically fit in tray ( keeping plastic jacket and temp sensor in place) with correct terminal orientation. Right now is gonna cost £88.54 at ECP. Check this lengthy informative thread here, https://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/107731-best-12v-battery-for-is250/#comment paul m.
  7. Check the Grom website and YouTube channel also the thread here. https://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/116763-vline-vl2-install/ And yes ( I thought) it was easy to fit, after watching others dismantle their 250 dash on YouTube.
  8. I think so, expensive but does what I wanted it to do, ie latest music streaming without any ‘wires’ and keeping dash looking OEM. I personally now have available, Spotify with voice control of search google maps netflix, I player, 4OD etc plus lots more toys that I’ll prob never use also apple car play if that’s for you
  9. +1 on the silver ( Argento Ice) over here! But I do have to get my 2007 alloys refurbed as the lacquer is coming away in hand fulls on the outside of the inner side of the wheels, if that makes sense! But trying to source some TPMS sensors that will be compatible with the VL2 unit. paul m
  10. Yes, but you gotta remember you have switched out of ACC when using CSC! Or you could be surprised to say the least! Don’t ask me why!
  11. Ok, so have you found out/had this done yet? paul m.
  12. +1, doesn’t bode well when a fairly sought after car is seen to be ‘hanging’ around and advertised numerous times by different sellers, and like you say, if it was minor defects then someone perhaps may have bit the bullet and taken it on regardless. Paul m
  13. Well done that man for finding yourself ( like me!) a unicorn car! I’m sure you’re gonna love it, so the SH stacked up all ok with the mileage then? And I doubt you will find many Reciepts for repairs as these cars tend not to seek out workshops as much as other cars out there! all the best with your new ride and the headlamp lens should be an easy fix. paul m.
  14. Mentioned in this previous thread https://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/119975-anyone-know-this-isf/ And firstly here Paul m.
  15. ✔️ Adaptive Cruise Control also known as radar cruise.
  16. Service schedule states 60k miles OR 6 years (whichever comes first) so if it has got FLSH for more than 6 years from new then plugs should have been done at 6 year service regardless of miles done ( mine was done at 6 years and at the time this was 22,337miles!) note, you used to be able to get pretty detailed historic Service info on the ‘My Lexus’ app but it seems to have gone! paul m.
  17. That one does have later alloy wheels and has a boot spoiler fitted, it indeed does have ACC ( not emphasised in ad!) and if it had a ‘moonroof’ it would want for nothing, a proper unicorn car. A hell of a lot of car for the money and if service history is good then miles are acceptable.
  18. Have you read this? Everything (almost ) you would want to know about the 250's before buying one. https://www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/lexus/is-2005/ note: the introduction reviews the Manual box which I and others do not reccomend over the auto. VED for starters! paul m.
  19. If you haven’t used you AC for a while it might smell a bit funky when first used, also check that the cabin/pollen filter is good ( not blocked or damp) and preferably use a activated charcoal type to reduce the build up of bacteria on it. paul m
  20. "Surely these jokers would be better off advertising one or two vehicles rather than a fleet." yes you are right and that is how some people do actually get duped, but please don't be giving these Herbert's any pointers on how to make their fake ad's more realistic! You sound like you have your wits about you but these chancers prey on the not so savvy and are not as switched on as some of us, just gotta be very wary out there and yes EBay are culpable in my eyes, paul m.
  21. Looks like Jonny has been Sussed and the only thing listed now by the 'seller' is a set of alloys, so where have all those super car, super bargains gone I wonder?
  22. Is it gone now or I just can't find it? found it, along with all the other 'bargains' a Bently GT for £10k ( with a 2k plate inc)....where's me wallet. Not sure if the motor home seller has anything to do with it or his account has been hacked and the email contact is a divert? Looks like the motor home sellers account has not been used for a while ( nearly all feedback over a year old) so Jonny Chancer has chose a dormant account by looks of it. Either way 'barge pole' comes to mind. So spend your hard earned wisely folks. paul m.
  23. Have you read this thread? paul m
  24. I don’t think I paid over the top for mine ( otherwise I wouldn’t have bought it!) but when I went stood in front of it because it had a sun(moon)roof I found that the seller omitted to mention in the ad that it also had ACC....SOLD! paul m.
