    I recently took out a service plan with Lexus Liverpool covering 7,8 and 9 years service for £1045 + free MOT's and collection and delivery of my vehicle to and from Anglesey if required.

    Lots of information regarding suitable tyres for an IS300H and reciprocate last comment by ruralrat. Have now come to a decision regarding replacement tyres for my vehicle so will be fitting Continental Conti Sport Contact 5 which I think will be suitable for my driving style - no longer boy racer:(

    From what I have read the IS infotainment system is not as good as other makes. However, I would not buy a car just for its infotainment system.

    I have just taken out a new service agreement with Lexus in Liverpool covering the 70,80 and 90 thousand mile services for £1045. I understand that these prices will increase shortly. Whilst my vehicle has not done anywhere near 70.000 miles the survices relate to the age of my vehicle - 6th, 7th and 8th year service.

    Thanks Phil, that is very interesting. I have asked Lexus for a quote as well, but as they are in Liverpool and I am on Anglesey I suspect National Tyres will be my best bet. Regards

    Thanks for the advice. National tyres have quoted £344 to change all 4 tyres with Yokohama Blue Earth E51 for every thing.

    Present tyres are Yokohama Blue Earth E31 which came with the car from new. I now need to replace all four over the coming months It would be interesting to hear what tyres are used by other owners I would probably get them fitted at Cosco as they are probably cheaper Thanks in advance

    Both my wife and I are on the policy and - as Roy has said - this makes it cheaper. My nominated mileage is 8000 although - like you - I no longer commute so actual mileage will be less.

    Just got my renewal notice from Privilege - fully comp, protected no claims - under £250.

    Still very happy with mine after 5 years. Comfortable and effortless driving with a bit more oomph available in sports mode when required.

    I have the IS300H Advance and love it. Sports mode gives you an extra kick if you need that. VED of £10 is also a positive.

    Seats on my IS have never been as warm as the seats on my old Saab 9-3 Aero Ttdi. I have just accepted that is the way things are.

    Plenty of rain recently and rain sensors working fine. No other problems experienced so far

    Non OE screen fitted yesterday. Not Lexus marked so will see how things go. It looks as it should.

    Just an update regarding this. I have been quoted an additional £246 to have a Lexus screen fitted. This is in addition to my excess of £75, making a total of £321. Needless to say I have opted for a non OE screen!

    Thank you Ed. Im waiting for a quote from auto glass, but if they also quote £115 then I will go for that rather than have a non Lexus screen fitted.

    Was the total cost for the genuine replacement £75 + £115, thus making £190 in total?

    Thanks for all the advice. I will contact my insurers today and request that a genuine Lexus screen is used for the replacement although I guess this will be more expensive.
