  1. I read that there's filters for seat air vents in other Lexus models, and a replacement can improve air flow if one feels performance is poor. Are there any in the 300h that can be changed? I feel sear ventilation performance is poor.
  2. Happens to the best of us at times. Perhaps the 250 doesn't have lane change, in which case this may be great!
  3. Am I missing something? I don't see the need for this, Is300h has lane change feature. Maybe needed if you want those strobe features.
  4. There's some checklists here if you scroll down to the bit that says "Find out more about Lexus Service Pricing by downloading the relevant guide" Or the Lexus Tech site has checklists that they supply you with at the dealer (that they tick as they go) but you must pay to access those. 3 euros for an hour will be fine to get what you want. https://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/servicing-and-maintenance/
  5. Always be careful posting Autotrader links online. Your postcode is shown in the link you provide, @Linas.P Edit: or at least the postcode you used during search.
  6. This may help you @PWOOD https://androidforums.com/threads/set-media-volume.1103218/
  7. Indeed. Though, if you're at the dealer, let them do it for you. As with everything they do, they'll probably charge you for doing so.
  8. Or use this little trick!
  9. @Comedian - I found some at Halfords with some appalling refiews. Can you vouch for a specific lacquer please? Or anyone! @rayaans - Thanks for the info. Good to know not diamond cut then. So, it's a layer of paint that is coming off. It's actually peeling, the entire layer. If it was just a scuff I'd leave it. But think it's going to get worse and worse. Really keen to seal it. I had thought of clear nail varnish just to get it stuck down / to prevent the peeled bit being leverage for further peeling. But concerned about durability. Think lacquer as suggested by @Comedian makes sense but want something that is both durable and dries as clear as possible. Thanks all for ideas and thoughts so far!
  10. Thanks both. @wendle hard wearing is nail varnish exposed to the elements? How often will a top up be required? @Comedian - Thanks for instructions. What is clear coat sorry?
  11. Hi all I have what I believe are Diamond Cut alloys (the standard F Sport ones). A little chip on the back wheel appeared and now a 2cm squared size piece has peeled but not come off entirely. Underneath is some black / dark grey surface. I was expecting silver if they are aluminium. Unless that's a protective layer of some sort. Anyway...I am thinking there must be some hard wearing, clear varnish like something I can paint or spray over the peeling bit, as well as over any other minor scuffs I've caused. Eventually I'll have them all restored as I have some wheel and tyre insurance. But just something in the meantime. Any recommendations folks?
  12. Happy to report that a replacement of part 85321-28020 solved the issue. The one I removed from the vehicle must have had something blocking it (I tried repeatedly to clear it without success) or some of the internal valves within the unit had failed in some capacity. As soon as the new was on, streams flowing equally. Cost £15 from Toyota. Damn expensive for what it is. Perhaps £3 non Toyota would have done the job, but I was unsure if the Toyota one did anything special other than stop the fluid flowing back to reservoir. Perhaps, distributing more flow to the valve than the other or something.
  13. I reckon someone made this mistake. https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Lexus-3IS-Hybrid-Smart-Card-Key-JDM/323301123521
  14. Looks awesome, fantastic idea. Can't warrant £400 however!

  16. I think the engine stays on at high speed (motorway) because if you needed to accelerate, the car is ready to go. Electric motor and battery may be overly strained at such speeds. If you were full bars, going down hill and were travelling at less than 45 mph or so, I think the engine would happily stay switched off. This is my experience any how. These hybrid systems are so carefully engineered and thought through, that no stone has been left unturned. Everything is intentional from my experience thus far.
  17. Time for a software update I think. Someone kindly posted the latest on the forums a few weeks back. Else, take it to dealer to do, you'll probably be charged.
  18. I've seen all bars lit only a few times in 18 months of ownership.
  19. I'd consider getting a different handset and connecting that via Bluetooth. If it sounds good, then it's an issue with your handset (not necessarily defective, but perhaps some conflict or incompatibility with the car / Bluetooth versions). If same issue, then you can begin to focus on the system. I'd be looking at car software updates at that point.
  20. Great idea Colin, thanks. Indeed straight through goes to longer pipe, dog let to shroter. In this case, longer is driver side, shorter is passenger side (the problem side). I switched them over and it squirted water just fine. So pipe is certainly clear. Think the valve has just failed. Will report back once resolved. No car warranty now so must fix myself. Any more thoughts?
  21. Thanks sorcerer I've had it off, cleaned it, poked it, blown air through it, etc. Still no good. Appreciate your input. As it's a one way valve, air only goes through certain directions. I'm guessing water should only be able to pass FROM water tank, TO jets. I notice this is true for the driver side nozzle (pushing air backwards causes nothing to happen) but on the problematic valve, water can return. Will get a nozzle from another Toyota / Lexus vehicle and see what happens!
  22. Hi everyone A common issue with millions of cars I am sure. My passenger side has a weak stream, barely reaches above the blade. I took the system apart to discover it is on a single feed pipe (I had simply assumed two), delivers fluid and splits off somewhere. So from reservoir to splitter, flow seems fine as the stream is good on driver side. I checked nozzles and both working fine. I swapped them to test. Pipes seem clear and unobstructed. I was unable to remove clips from under the bonnet unfortunately but found the split nozzle, as I learnt today, called a windscreen washer check valve. Even found the part number, 85321-28020. Tested the valve and seems clear and functional. I took a syringe and squirted water through it. The delivery of water when doing that is far stronger on the valve supplying the driver side (which works fine) than the valve supplying water to the passenger side (which is where the problem lies). I am unsure however, if this is how it is intended to work. I am inclined to think not. Why do I ask? The pipe from the valve to the passenger side (weak stream) has about 25cm pipe. Whereas the length of pipe from valve to driver side (stream that is fine) is far longer, probably two to three times longer or more. I can't see as the trim bonnet trim can't be removed but from where the check valve is located, it is obvious. Or so it seems. Is the difference to compensate for the pipe length? Is my valve defective? Online part seems to be £15 ish, not a great sum, but for what it is, rather expensive. Is there an aftermarket parts, £2 from Halfords or something?! Thoughts and suggestions appreciated!
  23. Is the software updates that have been extracted from the SD Cards on this forum recently, going to cure these sort of bugs? I am never sure the remit of these updates and how far they extend!
