  1. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201905198126671 £15K, F Sport, Leather! Not main dealer, but you might be surprised!
  2. Google Maps now has this functionality. Only as of recently (in the last few months). Seeing as Waze was acquired by Google a number of years ago, and now this feedback function is a part of Google Maps, I question the need for Waze anymore. Google Maps interface looks far better than Waze. Even without the feedback functionality in Google, I kept using it. Both are miles better than the Lexus interface.
  3. F Sport comes with memory seats so maybe that'll suffice. When I loaned a more basic model, I really missed the memory seats. If you haven't experienced it, you may not miss it, but if you have, you may really want them back. £16K for a Premier seems a fair price if it's the age you say it is. More than that, I'd say it's not worth it. It's coming up to the end of Q2. Perhaps there's room for a steep discount if you can promise them you'll pay and collect before end of June.
  4. Nope. Face lift came out 2017 with larger screen. 66 Vs 15 would be the same. Get the Premier. I had an exec on loan whilst my F Sport was being worked on. Going backwards, it felt lacking. But if you've never experienced a Premier, perhaps you won't know what you're missing out on.
  5. I'd choose the premier personally.
  6. News to me. Does it affect just the F Sport variant? Thanks!
  7. Good outcome. Which dealership?
  8. Small notch on the front only door handles. Touch notch once to lock. Touch twice to dead lock (internal locks disable)
  9. There is a setting in the menus to configure when a service was done, so it can count down the miles till next.
  10. Interesting, just had a look. Sadly I see they have a fuel efficiency rating of E (versus C on the 3's) and a sound noise rating of 71 (versus a 68 on the 3's) On paper, they are a step backwards. The 5s may not be as quiet as the 3s.
  11. Do they have rim protection, @rayaans?
  12. What is the sorcery? Transparent looking bonnet. Photoshop?
  13. I'd have thought removal of the sensor would cause the need for rebalancing? Perhaps for just a short while, it'd be OK? Is this TPMS battery swap job is risky? I like to take care of things proactively, but if you damaged the sensors during a precautionary battery swap, you might be kicking yourself for messing with them.
  14. What are the logistics of getting all four sensors out, so you can do DIY on your TPMS Sensor? Surely you'll need a cooperative tyre fitter who will let you have the sensors (for a few hours perhaps) between removal and refitting of the tyres? Aren't tyres damaged during removal, usually?
  15. Great idea. What bracket did you use shine?
  16. Mine looks similar to yours Jay. 2013 F Sport. What treatment can we apply? What type of oil or grease should we put on these sorts of things to prevent future issues?
  17. Missed that, my apologies. Thanks for your input! Glad to hear 12 months good experience. Was referencing something else another member had told to them. I was suspicious / didn't feel it was plausible, but there's always more insight and something one can learn!
  18. Any possible issues with these? Could they cause any bugs in the electrics? Could they blow / damage anything? I seem to recall some dealer telling a member here that use of LEDs in the system caused significant damage to some electronic part of the car.
  19. Are they safe? Any issues / potential damage to the car and its electronics?
  20. Where are you taking these photos? Right side of the engine?
  21. Isn't OP a taxi driver? I'd have thought the running of engine at such lengths would have taken care of any moisture through evaporation... Maybe washing of engine bay prior to ownership...
  22. That's a great call... 12 year anti-corrosion, but only 3 years for surface rust. This is more than just surface rust! https://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/warranty/
  23. Jan 2018 - Jan 2019. Lots of short journeys, occasional long runs. Averaged 38 MPG across 6000 miles (measured brim to brim every time, recording miles travelled and calculating). I've a 2013 F-Sport. Doesn't seem that high. Have I got a problem with my car would you think?
  24. Hi Jay I am interested in knowing how a 12v battery in poor condition can affect the MPG. Thanks!
  25. May be able to get a picture tomorrow. Your avatar / picture is a great view of the rear of your car! 😉
