  1. Due to a hijacked thread, I've decided to create a new topic gauging genuine interest in doing a road trip at some point this year? Based upon feedback so far, the below people would be up for it depending on dates:- Emjay82 Spacewagon52 Dandydons Flytvr Big Rat Mark G Jgtcracer (I may be able to get a couple of petrol head mates also) Of course the list is not final and can grow should others wish to attend. May need to look at dates now.......lol Marcus
  2. I'll pop into Edinburgh Lexus and see how I get on thanks Marcus
  3. Wow, I didn't realise they did any for the ISF. Don't suppose they have Part no on them?
  4. Looking to buy some heko wind deflectors for the front of the car, eBay only lists a them for IS cars. Can I assume the A-pillars are the same across the range? I love the window open a bit and the wife hates it.
  5. your not missing much, just plastic and a little 5.0 V8 motor. Mines got a red HPS intake just to jazz it up. Seriously though, easy to slip with wrench if not doing it properly on the street in the pouring rain, a bit harder to do in a main dealer unless the apprentice was tightening up without a torque wrench
  6. I've done that before by slipping with wheel wrench. Lost skin on knuckles too, maybe DNA could be found!lol
  7. Wow, that looks amazing! We need to make this happen. I've already told the wife we're going and if she decides otherwise then just means I'll have an extra space in the car. Might have to find a new wife when I get back mind.........win-win then!!
  8. It would be brilliant if we could organise something up here, I know I would be there in a heartbeat. Could even help organise if required
  9. Don't know about the brand but the temp should be met through even the slightest of spirited drives. If it's not that then I think it's the pad vibrating in the caliper. Could always turn up the stereo
  10. Me too, not withstanding the performance benefits, anything that has the potential to clean and condition the fuel system end engine as a whole is no bad thing. All fuel is expensive so not bothered about a few pence extra. One big caveat however.....has to be Shell V-power
  11. Some compounds squeal until up to temp, as they're not oem they may be a different type. Could be grit too but would of thought it wouldn't last that long without damaging the disc.
  12. Kid would have more fun doing it on the Xbox rather than real life. Ive got a 4yr old girl that loves doing donuts and TIG welding (don't tell her mum!!)
  13. It's Scotland remember, bound to be wet!lol
  14. I've been round quite a bit over the last 4 yrs. My celica Gt4 was great fun and the skyline was a monster. Brera was ok and my Accprd type r was particularly good. It's a nice track, not too hard on the car and very well priced. It's 1.5hrs away and still my local
  15. I'm up to Knockhill in April with the ISF. Will be interesting to see how it gets on. I've got images of hammering down straights and being slow and sideways in the bends......hope so anyway!lol
  16. I know the previous owner had a private plate and there is a red one on there that could be it. Not silver wheels either like mine though so maybe not. No other cars either but I live in the sticks so wasn't expecting much
  17. Apart from red obviously...... Marcus
  18. I hope so,lol. I think they're on the way up, slowly!
  19. I might email BBS today, it's worth a shot
  20. The trim surrounding the front grill is chrome, may be the camera
  21. Appreciate all the comments, I really enjoy the car as it is. Could do with some more exhaust note but got plans to sort this. Still not using the apexi start, anyone got any positive experiences with it?
  22. Yea, I quite like the colour, not sure I would change it come refurb time anyway. It does scream 'golf club' though, the darker wheels give an indication of something a little racier
  23. Yea it is, I'm OCD about stuff like that
  24. This is what I thought. Your wheels are OE colour still?
