  1. Good little write up, looks good in white too! R32 GTR had them knobs long before the LFA but they controlled lights and stuff if I remember. Did you get any attention in the car? Did you miss the GSF whilst you were away?
  2. Agreed, a car is to be enjoyed and modern cars can deal with the salt and grime on the roads fine. My car is a daily driver and never get any bother with it. I'm 31 and rarely get any attention in it, even with muffler delete. Car park dings and stuff can easily happen in the summer too so just live a little. Is this the first big powerful car your have had??
  3. I'm slightly biased but genuinely think if any do, it will be the ISF. It may not of been a game changer for the industry but certainly was for Lexus. Previous to the ISF there was nothing. Could the RCF and GSF ever have existed without the ISF that went first?? I bought a fresh import R32 GTR 3yrs ago for £10k, had it a year and sold it. Due to the American import market, try getting one for £10k now!! It's all a big if however. I still worry about the F brand. Lexus just don't push it like they could. There's still a real chance Lexus might one day kill the brand. As we live in a consumer society, classics only become classics because there is a genuine appreciation for that particular car and a want to purchase it Look at it this way, in my eyes a classic is a car that you look at and think "I wish I had one of those" or "I wish I never sold that". I have never heard of a story of someone that has bought an ISF and not fallen in love with it. Even to you guys that have moved away from the ISF to a GSF/RCF, I bet the ISF will always be special to you and have that little something you can't replace!! I regularly think about my 1st, problem is I married her!!! Marcus
  4. I don't know the specifics of the ISF conversions but generally I would think you would have more heat issues compared to a supercharger due to increases in boost temps and because it's driven by exhaust gases. Turbos generally need oil/coolant supply also and they will add heat to the respective systems. With regard to a blow off valve, you will either need a dump valve to atmosphere or a recirculating type but without either then compressor stall can occur when coming off throttle. This increases wear on the turbo. Superchargers tend to run lower boost that turbo set ups so may be a little more gentle. Similarly, the install can be a little less complicated to complete. Running higher boost tends to need a change of compression and block work which isn't needed for the supercharged route initially. We all know you can get 600bhp+ from supercharger set up so can't see you needing much more than that. Added to the fact it's proven reliable then your can't go wrong. The 420bhp the car already has is more than enough for me where I live, any more is a waste. A guy I that lives near me had a C63 with around 500bhp and he can't catch me on the back roads as he just wheel spins. All just my opinion obviously but I bet you bust the car somehow if you try to turbo. Marcus
  5. There is no such thing as a reason not go get an LFA
  6. I'd gobble her air biscuits any day of the week!
  7. Nope definatly depends who it is, we submariners are known for being dirty, horrible people. I was always told if your fist won't fit in it then it's too small (I'm taking about exhausts by the way!!)
  8. If be embarrassed if someone was fingering my hole too!! Depends who it was actually. Lol
  9. And ventilated seats!
  10. I'll have you know that they are 100% real fake exhaust tips!! I used to have and IS-D.... Went to the GU clinic to get rid of it though
  11. Luckily, the whole IS range is practically identical so they could be retro fitted into an ISF!
  12. I'm also with Adrian flux and they have been brilliant, cheapest around too. Dunno how the algorithms used to calculate price work but they are all over the place mind you. Don't give up on them, might just of got the wrong guy on the wrong day. Marcus
  13. Like a teenage?? Lol. Mine are squeaking at really low speeds with light brakes applied. Stops once they warm up. Discs and pads were changed on Sunday.
  14. It can't take more than an afternoon to get to the UK from Holland, just import a GSF. Think how much it would sell for once your finished with it!
  15. You did downgrade to the RCF mind you,. What do you expect, ISF treatment?? Ha. Marcus
  16. I don't understand, theyre the same car! Lol
  17. I'd certainly be up for this, more notice of dates the better though to get the wife primed! Coventry is a little more central than Cheltenham also so may be a bit more accessible for people having to travel Marcus
  18. I'd used Pagid discs in the past and had a feeling they might of done this with the ISF so thought I'd order them and see. The Pagid pads are branded as Pagid but should still be fine!
  19. Purchased some new Pagid front discs from euro car parts for the front of the ISF on Monday for £126.50 delivered and look what turned up! Having phoned them it turns out that Pagid sell the Brembo discs as their own. ISF brakes are unique to the car so Brembo are the only ones that make them. They're massive and quality looks amazing! Nice bit of info for any anoraks it there!! Marcus
  20. I've said it on here a few times but Adrian flux have quoted me happy plenty. Cheapest for me by quite some way. No tracker on mine, a few others wanted one and even if I'd fitted one, would still be more expensive! Never thought I'd say this but dealing with them is a pleasure.
  21. Happy birthday mate, has the postman been?? Read your letter from the Queen yet??
  22. Couldn't agree more, best colour also. (P.s. thanks for putting the value of my car up!! Haha)
  23. Don't do it, you will regret it!!
  24. I'd love to climb in the back doors of that!
  25. What am I supposed to be looking at????? Is there a car there somewhere?
