  1. @Steve Yes very unfortunate that's the price you pay with advertising endorsements even when they are in the background. Don't know if they endorse him or his business interests but I'm guessing if they do once they've consulted the appropriate suits they will be parting company, but only presumably if it financially suits them 😂 Big Rat
  2. So so to give a quick bump to this thread @DAN@ADRIAN FLUX And his people have received all the documentation pictures and so on of my is-F and for the £65.00 fee the agreed value of my car a 59plate with 45k miles and and A1 condition is agreed between us as £19500.00 this IMO is exactly how I see its value to be and would like to thank Dan and his and the staff for the quick and efficient response. Now obviously all others who wish to go this route would have their cars assessed on a individual basis but I think it represents market replacement value or there abouts and not what it would be if the unthinkable happens without an agreed value. 3. And there's more to come perhaps not for just Japan.......... https://lexusenthusiast.com/2017/10/26/next-generation-lexus-gs-f-under-development/ Big Rat
  4. @mike m If you have it this coming Christmas Day I'll be there as I'm in Edinburgh over the festive period 😁😁😁 🐀
  5. @Defratos What was that little white German speck disappearing fast in your mirror 😂😂😂 Someone should set up an anonymous account on M3cutters and post it 🤓 Big Rat
  6. @Nutey As always all is not lost if you pm @emjay82 on here he has plenty that he wants to move on may have the one you want. I have only complete sets and I’m a hoarder 😊 Big Rat
  7. And with each wheel New being around the £1500 mark I don’t suppose the dealer will be sorting that...... but you never know 😉 🐀
  8. @JonP Well you’ve certainly used yours as intended, good to hear that reliability long term user confirmed. I fully understand the RCF choice GSF for me when the time comes but only if the prices come down as well. Otherwise I’d be more than happy with an RCF they are both IMO great cars. Big Rat
  9. @DAWSo David I've learnt my lesson with the German manufacturers over many years it was my choice to buy repeatedly Bmw and Porsche, I'd be lying if some of the cars didn't haven't very great aspects to them M3CSL - Engine. Porsche 996 Turbo - Engine. But in the overall scheme of things rubbish reliability poor build quality and mostly rubbish dealer service. With the exception of Wellsway BMW in Bath So if I'd done my homework for example to give one example should have bought an ex demo is-F and not the ex demo Bmw M5 E60. Even the dealer and staff grew to hate that car 9.5k in warranty work in just over a year and look at the reputation of them now you'd need a skip load of cash to maintain repair out of warranty. 🐀
  10. In any event I think this is far more informative and reliable site. Good read as well look at Lexus 😊 https://www.osv.ltd.uk/are-alfa-romeo-reliable/ Big Rat
  11. @mike m The Alfa drives well apparently, would I buy with my money...... er no. A new one I’ve seen up 7k off list, not great for residual if they are doing that already. Second hand with delivery/ demo mileage 12k off, running a second hand Italian performance car that’s complicated to boot not for me. The main reason I say this is the dealerships, there are 2 guys with these at the club I go to and parts availability is abysmal combined with a lack of knowledge. Big Rat
  12. @Damo n A lot of the GU/GY reg cars from the Brighton area are ‘X’ Lexus Press fleet vehicles, I have a list of most of them but this one doesn’t appear on it looks nice. Think this car was from the Bury area recently I believe, it’s only had a couple of previous owners. Big Rat
  13. @Mark G Now why didn’t I think of that....... oh I know I’m getting old fast becoming a crumbly 👴 🐀
  14. Well I for one think it's not deserved I've had mine for 19 months and in that time I had a fuse blow the fact that it was entirely my fault is neither here nor there it cost me 30p + vat good job I took out the warranty..........😂 Big Rat
  15. @DAW No probs matey there's always a next time. 🐀
  16. @Nutey Duncan welcome to the forum, 3 have come on the market since Monday but I see you want a face lift car, you need IMO to get yourself a test drive in one any one if you can as ride feel between them is marginal if anything on our 'great surfaced roads ' and is not as bad as journalists have made out. As regards the wheels they are corner specific so they need to look like this which ever wheel it is........ Sorry about the generic pic but it shows it well, as regards LSD unless you are going to track it it pretty pointless on the road, the conectivity in the later ones is better though. Good luck with the search any more questions just fire away 👍 Big Rat
  17. @Glock Good man right car right colour you won’t regret it. Big Rat
  18. I think it shows the thrift of many poor members on here who dispite the dire financial positions they seem to be able to run and maintain V8 motors. Its their undying faith in man maths that gives them this remarkable ability to make the most of so little dosh, well done you all........🤧
  19. @DAW David you going to bring your White beauty to Cosford on 19th November ? 🐀
  20. @mike mI agree anything made of this quality is most likely going to be a reasonable fit, as it's a cat back system retains the central box as well. 🐀
  21. A 59 year old 45 years as a builder poorly paid has the personality of a wilting wall flower type and shy 😂😂😂😂😂 🐀
  22. @Mark G Ah right thought as much never seen a 59plate with that spec mines a 59 registered a few weeks before as you know it's an earlier spec car, this one looks alright reasonably priced. 🐀
  23. @mike mThat's interesting mike I've been having a read into the various owners comments both in America and Australia and the consensus of opinion is well made nice sound but far to much drone, some people having been removing them and selling on and or replacing with something else, shame as it's not silly money but you would have to factor in shipping and fitting. Big Rat
  24. @Mark G So Mark look at this one just gone on Autotrader from.........Chippenham you ever seen it around ? https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201710250637403?advertising-location=at_cars&postcode=ba11rj&make=LEXUS&sort=sponsored&model=IS F&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly New&onesearchad=New&radius=1501&page=1 Big Rat
