  1. @NothernDan Dan fully accept you knee deep in fatherley duties at the moment I’ll pm you and some time acceptable to yourself I’ll come over your way and we can devise a cunning plan........ I don’t have children but the Farley’s rusks and hot milk are on you 🤗 🐀
  2. @NothernDan Combined it is...... blame oooh yes I like that usually followed up with some sort of harsh punishment......😆 🐀
  3. @B1 RMA Noooo it’s not a waste you are simply helping the country with tax receipts 5.0 V8’s are a public service.......😆 🐀
  4. @B1 RMA Nothing wrong with a few subtle additions..... I know someone who will have trouble sleeping tonight 😁 🐀
  5. @Martin F I have talked with some to do ‘A South ‘ meet next year for those who do seem to get forgotten, namely the south east/ west members. I made mention of Cheddar Gorge - the mendip hills - Salisbury plain was what I suggested. The idea being small groups pre agreed meeting places - I suggested Haynes motor museum (big car park) restaurant- Sutherland BMW M car specialist and lots of posh stock McLaren and so on again big car park and cafe next door. Its all early days yet but just an idea. Big Rat
  6. @B1 RMA There are a fair few available in fact I and would have got something for mine but with it being a black it is pointless unless a Carbon section anyway this looks good..... Big Rat
  7. @Mark G And your take on it is exactly mine, knew what I wanted prepared to travel as in the case of the ISF I owned. There is a tendency for the buyer to over value their car at times, but want the maximum off for there intended purchase.... if you value residuals you need to be a realist. There are times as well the customers attitude and behaviour I’ve seen it many times where they simply alienate themselves. They are a quality niche product which I for one wish I had discovered earlier if those think the grass is greener on the other side it’s your money you spend it how you want, for me I’m staying put. 8. @NothernDan Yes mate I couldn’t agree the similarities are quite remarkable 60 yrs old grey 5’ 8”and a quarter ......🙄 🐀
  9. @Peter P18 Spooky 😁 My father sadly since passed was Spartan he traced our family back many many generations all to the same town, which only became fractionalise when Ze Germans invaded ! 🐀
  10. @B1 RMA Yep they are very different bit like me really 😂 🐀
  11. @B1 RMA David yes I gues as they’ve had the car for a relatively short period of time they are going to hold out, I. Pleased you’ve found an alternative, I know the car you’ve bought but I won’t spoil your up and coming pictures thread as we all love to see them when someone new comes along. I keep a register and pictorial history of every ‘F’ car so will add yours to it as and when, the red is a great colour and detailed with the sun on it really pops. Doubtless you are aware these cars are rare with just a few hundred in the Uk 60 Gsf’s and a little over 200 isF’s. The carbon version of the Rcf being the rarest of all with less than 30 in existence. Big Rat
  12. @doog442 Hi Doug no mate nothing just checked my inbox fella 🤔 Big Rat
  13. @B1 RMA Another member off here went to see the car with a view to a negotiated part x, unfortunately they Said they don’t negotiate on prices....... despite as you noticed the car needed some TLC 🙄 Big Rat
  14. @B1 RMA David for the type of car the running costs compared to the opposition are really rather good, the warranty costs blows them all out of the water. Not that you will need it very often, when you’ve time get yourself over onto our own dedicated forum and have a read lots to discover from the posts 👍 Big Rat
  15. @B1 RMA You are absolutely right carbon build is not an issue with these engines and a fair few prefer the tastie pump stuff.... Big Rat
  16. @B1 RMA David good choice, lots of great toys to play with on her, maybes meet you both some time at a gathering some time in the future....... Oh and when your ready don’t forget we need to see pics.... lots of..... it’s a need 😄 Big Rat
  17. @Comedian Excellent now with all the assistance you’ve received from the bruv collective on here.....what’s our gift..... Maybe a paid for weekend at Skeggy...... Or a meal for two at the most isolated Indian restaurant in the country ......... 🐀
  18. @NemesisUK Is he a good Rat catcher.......😳 🐀
  19. @Comedian Nooooo wrong gravel and no grid, using the right grid and right gravel prevents this..... Bit like a bloke who puts undersized pistons in the barrels and we’ll the rattle is the same 😂 🐀
  20. @Comedian Be afraid be very afraid 😧 🐀
  21. @NemesisUK Picture of vicious beast required I’ll use it in my sales feature pitch in future 😂 🐀
  22. @Stuno1 Yes Stewart it is but it doesn’t travel off it’s contained within..... well the odd one or two make an escape 😂 Here’s a pic of the same drive about a month later.....
  23. @NothernDan I wish they’d invented them 20 years ago matey I’d have an LFA sat on my grids now with a very happy Rat inside it 😂 🐀
  24. @Stuno1 Stewart that figure is perfectly achievable by using a different finish top material, I’m a great advocate for gravel grids which has become 90% of my drive work now as it’s fully permeable and complies with all local authorities SUDS laws..... a few pics of my most recent one..... First pic the start.... The second one shows the method and materials...... The third the finish...... the gravel colour is infinite and is contained within the grids hexagonal pockets. Big Rat
