  1. @Peter P18Ah right I see well just have to find the right fitment with regards to traction in the dry but not dismissing aqua planning in the wet, with the obvious consideration of wheel arches and arch lining fouling, still nice first world problems to solve 😁 🐀
  2. @Peter P18 Nowt worse than frustrating turbo lag, lots of manufacturers switching from Blowers to turbos chasing the the low co2 figures. You considered wheels/ tyre set up perhaps from RCF give you 255 front 275 rear or do you need bigger. Plenty of pics online of isF with RCF wheels.......... Big Rat
  3. @EtienneEtienne just so you are aware the isF forum will change soon to a combined IsF/gsF/rcF forum wouldn't want you to miss out out on anything 👍 Big Rat
  4. @ComedianSo as and when the merged 'F' forum is up and running I think this is precisely the kind of thing we need to save to an appropriate sections of 'Mods' , I forget who it was on the Rc forum who started the thread for his car and a spacer saver solution. Prime example of good ideas where all who want to can benefit. 🐀
  5. @Comedian I personally believe even with having recovery that a space saver is essential, glad I had mine when a rear tyre went bang in a big way on the Humber Bridge on Christmas Eve 2015 ❄️ 🐀
  6. @Comedian The calipers are big boys, it's the reason you can't use an isF spacer saver instead of the sealant. 🐀
  7. @Comedian Yes the isF colours is lovely..........😏 🐀
  8. @Peter P18 Yes mate it’s back in the day when some ads were amusing and now they are all irritating, anyway clearly you are enjoying your self with the ‘beast’ I’m guessing there are going to be a number of things you are going to discover as time goes on. The fuel tank being the size of a thimble is one 😏 But in the broader sceme of things you int arf getting a lot of bang for your buck, I was behind a Nissan GTR today a couple of years old clearly been modified he wasn’t finding it easy shaking off my fully laden transit I may add. So i quickly did the sums in comparison between you and him not the obvious one mind you I was thinking of more of along the of ongoing maintenance and so on running a GTR is huge whereas yours I’m guessing is not really going to much more than a bogo ISF...... am I right ? 🐀
  9. @Peter P18Sorry mate soon as you mentioned the wheels.............. 🐀
  10. Yes I know I was just being a little daft, I had an RC as a service loan car for a day back last year, having driven RCF's many times prior to it, and whilst I was with the RC a 2.0 Petrol version........ I know I know @Linas.P let's not go back to that 😬 What I want to say is I tried to put myself in the position of an owner that just wanted a car that had style more than a little presence reliability and very importantly was not German. I didn't consider it some inferior RCF for instance I just wanted to to see what it was for what it was I enjoyed it 👍 🐀
  11. Guy doing the review usual motoring journalistic rubbish spouted by someone who has spent a relatively short period of time with the car, and then for some inexplicable reason is an 'expert' ............ so I've come up with a test on here for who has the ability to complete the word below that best discribes him. I'm going to make a simple like him....... I'm even going to give a clue to assist with the answer ..... So here we go he is...... now remember it's not bad language and the test is PRA.. The two dots required for the clue are a famous bike race held on the Isle of Man @ComedianIs not allowed to participate being a bike bloke as well 😏 There we are a lot rubbish just like the reviewer....... 🐀
  12. @Flytvr Give you a call say an hour ok ? 🐀
  13. @Stazza80 No probs matey good luck with the job 👍 🐀
  14. @Stazza80 Ben a quick bump of this thread if you are still interested found a long clip on the tube of the exhaust sounds er........naughty 😁 I've also got the English translation for the company in Germany, seems they do different tips for their two cat back systems and a straight forward back box change for the OEM look. Here is the supplier in the Uk https://www.dcperformance.co.uk/cheap/852179/lexus/fox-exhaust-backboxes/le011044-292.html Or you can deal directly with the company in Germany. http://www.fox-sportauspuff.de/index.php?language=en There is an English translation for those who don't speak German on the menu 🤣 Big Rat
  15. @Comedian Clearly didn't clean the fat builder fingers we'll enough 😬 🐀
  16. Oops fat builder fingers sorry 😐 Paul
  17. So I've had confirmation from @steve2006 regarding or request for a merged 'F' car forum and he has agreed and it will take place in the not so distant future. I woukd like to thank him and the others concerned for this as I'm sure all those who voted for it will benefit now and in the future 👍 Big Rat
  18. @steve2006 E-mail sent as requested. Big Rat
  19. @steve2006 Steve that would be fantastic I'll just get down off the scaffolding now and e-mail you 😬 Big Rat
  20. I'm more than happy to carry on the good work from @Flytvr and I know we have touched on the subject of the 'F' being ten years old next March/April and for as large as possible dealer involved meet somewhere central in the country to celebrate this. But I still feel that for all 'F' car owners on here to have a forum for those specific cars is important to the successful organising of meets as we go on into the new year, I am a little disappointed that still no one from the powers that be have commented on the idea one way or the other as yet as this can, in my opinion be only for the good for all concerned. This is a good site that IMO is well run with very few problems between members unlike quite a few othe car sites I could mention and with the continued involvement of all long may it last, there are lots of people on here old and new who have said they will be happy to assist with time and ideas which is what it's all about the people who make it work so we can get more enjoyment from the cars whatever model 'F' you have As regards the '10 year meet' I know @Mark Ghas touched on the subject with Lexus Cheltenham and he has quite rightly recognised that a face to face meet with them is the next best step and I will try and sort this in the next week or so. 21. @Peter P18 None of us are jealous....... we’re not........we’re really........not........🤥 🐀
  22. @Comedian Here’s @Flytvr when he saw what his Carbon Skunkee is going to cost from now on to keep clean 😊 🐀
  23. @Jgtcracer Dear Lexus Edinburgh
  24. @Flytvr Quick off the mark there....... well as we told you "Skunk Works" for us 😏 🐀
