  1. @ComedianSean I couldn't agree more 🙄 🐀
  2. I’ve had a reply back from Lexus in Saudi they cannot supplier part numbers without a chassis number so we are going to need someone out there who has an appropriate vehicle. My car is at Lexus Bristol today having it’s service, and I’ve spoken with Andy Bevan the parts guy and he contacted Lexus uk and this is there e-mail reply .......... Hi, I have had a reply back from Lexus, i will paste their reply to my email. "Good afternoon, Unfortunately there is no approved space saver / spare wheel kit available to order for this vehicle. We can only advise on factory fit equipment and approved Accessories. We are unable to advise on conversions or modifications changing the vehicle from its original supplied specification if no approved Accessories are available". I am afraid without their help i am struggling to get a part number for one. The only thing i can suggest is to email a lexus dealer in the middle east to see if they can get a part number, you will probably have to supply a vin number for a Middle Eastern vehicle though. 3. @Nick W858 Ah Nick what a perceptive man you are a real touch of ‘the blarney’ with the written word! Id go as far as to say ‘A Silver tongue devil ‘ Sorry I had to get the word in somehow 😊 🐀
  4. @Carl1983 Well done you, I'm a great advocate of winter tyres and I mean winter tyres and not all season, I swith mine over on the works Transit and my isF in October and back over to the summers in April. The difference below 7 degrees is remarkable on the winters and I don't mean just in snow and slush but everyday winter wet and greasy roads, as here in the south west we don't really get the wordt of winter weather anymore says he And of course if you do have a slide towards a kerb let's say at low speed you've got that extra sidewall height to protect your alloys. 5. I've got the commercial version of the Hancock evo2 on my works Transit custom, put them on first of October to replace the previous Generation of Hancock commercial winters due to age, I keep them for five years irrespective of tread depth and switch them out in April for my Michelin summer commercials. Ive found the Hancock good value for money, had all four supplied and fitted for £306.06, I can't comment on the passengers car version of the tyre performance wise, I've got Michelin winters on the IsF now great tyre but not cheap. 6. @Nick W858 Nick my love of Silver is well known in these parts, so well done you so I've got a Picture for you of an isF, I don't believe the owner is on here but lives not a million miles away from you and yes under all this the car is Silver............ so if you are ready Big Rat
  7. @MNMJGive it post Christmas and you’d get that RCF for just under 30k, they’d probably through the private plate in as well 😊 Big Rat
  8. @ComedianI’ve said just this before a couple of times lots of slices of Bavarian humble pie 😏 http://www.bmwblog.com/2017/04/21/bmw-m-claims-dual-clutch-manual-transmissions-soon-gone/ 🐀
  9. The water pump was never a recall they only weep anyway there are no recorded instances of one failing, once changed with the modified version your sorted. Had mine done under warranty at 30k miles. Big Rat
  10. @88isf Pleased you sorted it, The ISF is well known as a self healer Anyway don’t forget to check the water pump for weeping as well 👍 🐀
  11. @88isf Have you checked the coolant level ? If ok an airlock or a stuck thermostat, and also check for water leaks 👍 Big Rat
  12. @ruutasticAndrew sorry again for your predicament, I had a problem only recently with my Works Transit a bill for 3k + vat and it was misdiagnosed, had from new 40k miles and it did the same. Bit the bullet and got shot and bought a new one, go the blanket of a warranty for 5 years. End of the day your choice but as others have said get rid if you want another there’s loads for sale at the moment at the stealers at least you will get a warranty for a year or two. Big Rat
  13. @ComedianI tend to err towards OEM tyres for high performance vehicles, I believe that Lexus tend to fit Michelin to the Rcf and Gsf, I was contracted to Michelin for tyre development work in a previous life as to their tyres use in fast road/performance applications and I'm a great advocate to this day of their products. But as you mentioned in the beginning-cost- I've recently replaced my isF set of four and have stuck with OEM Bridgestones £600.00 all in, the tyre is still in my option still suitable for the vehicle and purpose it's put to. The Michelin is a premium tyre and priced accordingly, paying slightly less for the next best is the way I'd go. 🐀
  14. @dutchie01 That’s Theo Kleen he co owns the’ ring taxi rent a ride ‘ a great driver been round the ring over 6k times never paid not once what a job ! 🐀
  15. @Comedian You are right they don't separate out the figures for 'F' cars, nor do they in the states Lexus Club there have been trying to establish Rcf numbers sold but Lexus simply lump all the Rc's together which is a little over 14000 since release. 🐀
  16. @mike m @Jgtcracer Ah yes ‘mature man’ ‘ wheel man’ us oldies still have some talent, Wundebar ! 🐀
  17. @Flytvr I like the Grey reserve judgement on the wheels, I don’t believe the Silver suits it 😳 I know I know don’t go there, if I was to nail my colours to the mast so to speak if it was a non Carbon car I’d take that Grey makes a rare car even rarer, is that a word? Anyway if it’s a Carbon White or Orange. 🐀
  18. @Bluethunder Nean do you mean the grey? If so yes it really suits the car, the wheels from some angles look good but they don’t seem to be particularly popular. 🐀
  19. According to DVLA just under 200 RCF’s in Uk 164 RCF & 24 Carbons on average since release Lexus have sold about 6 a month. I have 887 photographs of different European RcF’s most countries are on the list between 2015-2017, this does not include Russia where there are a fair number of vehicles, I’m speculating but I believe it to be dozens as the plates are usually pixelated out, and I keep seeing the same cars. Big Rat
  20. @Linas.P There are a fair few more Rcf's in Europe than here. 🐀
  21. @Warrington guy Dave just for you the only one in the Uk coming up................... Looks nice to me 👍 Big Rat
  22. So while we are talking about my new favourite car here is a picture of the rare Rcf 3rd alloy wheel option what do you think guys ? The car is the second least opted for Rcf colour as well the least opted colour is Silver 🙄 🐀
  23. @Flytvr I don't want one now and it's all your fault 🐀
  24. @Flytvr Two words reliability, build is
