@Killysprint Tim the Orange is standard always has Been on the Gsf here, whereas it’s always been black on the Rcf. Other markets have the Orange on both cars. I believe the dampers became variable from the first week in December 2016, but someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly, @ColinBarber over to you😉 🐀

@C.B So shameless opportunity to again try and sell my ISF spares from the ‘Rat’ workshop. Keep your original system and experiment with this OEM lot.... Big Rat

@designo Ahmed thanks for coming back to me on that, this is the same wheel I saw as original equipment in Singapore last week on both the GsF and the Rcf as well as the Lc500. We do not get this in the Uk and there are a few of us here keen to get our hands on them including me. Now that you are part of the fold so to speak would it be to much to ask you to find the availability of ordering them at your dealers. They are impossible to get here and Singapore Lexus can’t help. Could you obtain the cost and very importantly the part number for me. Its only the wheel we are after. To be honest good condition used ones would be fine if you know a source. I still maintain that run flats are a compromise to far, I accept that the ability to continue to drive on them with a puncture for a given reduced speed speed is something. Late Christmas Eve 2012 I was crossing the Humber bridge heading North for a Holiday midway a large bolt destroyed the rear N/S tyre of my M335i Bm, a run flat. When I bought the car I bought a full space saver kit, we were on our way continued journey and holiday, wouldn’t have been able to that on 3 wheels........ 🐀

@jawz786 Welcone to the club, a great car choice you won’t be disappointed, a normally asperated V8 the best....... but you already knew this........ 🐀

I know I’ve been a bit like a dog with a bone with this spare wheel thing but I agree with @rayaans runflats are a big mistake. I’ve run Bm’s with them in the past and they are awful. Doubtless the more modern versions are better, than the circa 08/09 fitted to the cars I had but still would not touch them with a barge pole. I firmly believe there is NO substitute for either a full size or space saver spare, to hell with the weight or loss of luggage space. 🐀

@designo Ahmed sounds fantastic soon as I get home I’ll see if I can stuff my RCF into the hold of an A380 and pop over for some bits and pieces...... As an aside then the spare wheel your Gsf came with was it simply a front wheel of the style on the car to enable it to fit back or front ? Big Rat

@mrfunex Matey great reply, you had it wet we walked from the MRT to the dealer not far but it was 43 degrees and the humidity was off the scale 😅 But when Mrs Rat stood by the Rcf she was so happy........ Ok maybe not...... 😂 🐀

Now I’ve bored you all senseless about my time away and handbags and so on....... I was granted some time to myself in Singapore to go to the Lexus Boutique dealership, amazing place makes ours in the Uk feel and look like Arthur Daley’s lot. The full range of cars on view in one location including all the ‘F’ cars and the models we don’t get was really interesting, including the huge selection of TRD parts for Lexus and Toyota models. Got a tour of the workshops and body repair areas again puts us to shame in some ways and the attention to detail is great to see. I posted a thread recently about the Lfa crash out here it’s being repaired by them apparently the bill has past £140k already😳, no photos allowed in these areas. Anyway I’ve made enqs about the spare wheel situation for the Gsf and the RcF, as they are fitted to them here...... But Lexus will not supply them to the dealerships out of the given market, there is not even a part number on the wheel... I looked ! And Lexus blank out the part on the parts store image finder ! The specs of the car are a little different to ours and so is the price, an Rcf here is £165k... with £20k tax on top new......🤓 A great hour was spent chatting to people there including a couple of owners, only 5 Rcf’s here plus 1 Carbon, yes @Flytvr it’s White, and only 2 Gsf’s both Blue. Just buy a plain black one like mine they look perfect and clean and shiny all the time in the Uk..... 🐀
