Tyre pressure warning?
Big Rat replied to Cezar B's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
@Cezar B Probably just needs a reset, amazing what the hot weather does to them, I’ve seen mine at the usual 2.4-2.5 when cold but increase to 2.6-2.7 without even driving the car. 🐀 -

@Toothy David no probs such a shame I have the contact details of the cars owner who has both Rcf's he has kept a lot of the parts from both cars and is drip feeding it on the bay, both he and his wife have Rc's and have been 'upgrading' them with parts from the cars. He's not far from you here is one important bit from the Carbon....... Big Rat -

A few parts have been appearing on eBay from 2 Rcf’s one of which I knew was a Carbon. The seller wouldn’t say what the reg was so I’ve done my own digging and it turns out it’s a Well known car. She was used in much press and photographic work and had her first MOT in Feb then met her end on a snowy motorway not long after. Has now been broken for parts as was a drivable repair but the cost for a bonnet alone made it beyond economical repair.... shame. Anyway here she Is firstly in happier days...... And just prior to being scrapped.... And lastly at the scene of the accident....... Big Rat

Mine came standard with the steels which were adequate, but so they should have been the car only weighed 1400kg, must admit though they are an all year round weapon....... 🐀

When I upped the spec of my 996 turbo to gt2 power and torque I had PCB fitted, as they came with the turbos intercoolers and so on from a friend. They we’re pretty impressive on the 2 track days I did with the car but for road use a bit OTT even for fast road stuff, and a Little unresponsive when cold. But at just under £20k to replace which was 75% the value of the car it was a no brainier to swap them out with the steels and pop them back in the boxes for the next owner 😊 Big Rat

Now if any one on here should find themselves on this particular piece of driving and riding apparently joyous place 🤗 Keep a look out for this particular Rcf I'm guessing you'll hear it before you see it as it's fitted with an armytrix exhaust........🙉 Big Rat

Two RcF Carbons come on Sale Today
Big Rat replied to Big Rat's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
Yes the 'F' range are a difficult sell, to the uninitiated, personally I love that element of exclusivity, exiting a roundabout only the day before yesterday into a section of road with 4 lanes to join the M5 in seconds I noticed a C63 a pair of C43 an Rs6, all fine cars in their own right but....... well you get my point. So anyway as regards these two Carbons I've checked my photo Archive and found this picture and some information regarding the red car, with that mileage I personally would consider it I have no information it was used other than press staging stills work and dealer demo. Cant find a picture of the Grey car but I know the private reg on it is RD07 TES and it was part exed for a New LC. The mieage is appropriate for the year which it many ways is a good thing, all cars need regular exercise........😏 And maybe the dealer has just reflected this in the price........ nothing strange in that........ other than it must be a world first for a dealer to do that 😂 Big Rat
